Hunter at BR Properties was extremely helpful. We had rented another house that had a last minute problem. She arranged for us to stay in Celestial View for same price, and we were not disappointed. Location was extremely convenient to Blowing Rock, Linville Falls and other trails along the Parkway. House is not new but thoughtfully renovated, well laid out, exceptionally clean. Beds were comfy. View of the town of Blowing Rock is stellar. Quiet small neighborhood. We were extremely happy overall and would highly recommend both BR Properties and this house.

The cabin/home was beautiful inside, clean and convenient to Blowing Rock. I fully recommend this as a superb place to get away and relax.

Great location

The house was comfortable and clean. Plenty of seating on the deck and the pool table kept the kids busy. The beds could use an an update but overall everything was great.

Outstanding getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room. Well stocked. The deck was awesome for the dogs Blowing Rock is a great town with excellent restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend this house for a getaway.

Very nice for family, especially with adult children. The three rooms each with their own bathroom is great. Love the family area and ability to still be together even if the couples are platong pool in the loft. Large porch with room to stretch out and enjoy each others company, but also separate for some couple space. Clean and open.

Wonderful Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in High Country at this property! It was extremely clean and well stocked! We loved the covered porch area with plenty of comfortable seating. We enjoyed playing games at the large kitchen table until the wee hours of the morning! The sun coming through the windows in the mornings was beautiful! Plenty of space for a family to enjoy a week of quality time together!

Amazing place to stay with a great sunrise view over the mountains right out the back door. Wrap around porch has gates that help contain pets. Hot tub and gas fire pit were relaxing amenities. Great area close to a lot of major attractions. Would highly recommend this for family or friend groups.

Awesome getaway spot.

This is a great property with all you need for a vacation near Blowing Rock. Home, deck and peace and quiet are great and everything was clean and ready. House is really well setup and comfortable. Blowing Rock, Boone and plenty of hiking spots are nearby. Having AWD/4WD is a good idea for the gravel road but the drive is a neat part of disconnecting from the busier parts of the area. Hope to come back again!

Stress Relief

Beautiful property & great location. Needs some attention to maintenance: upstairs tub drain is clogged-slow draining. Cooktop surface light out. If guests intend to cook, they need to bring their own cookware—cookware provided is greatly worn. Also, flatware, particularly spoons, needs replenishing.

Perfect relaxing getaway

My family stayed here for a long weekend in October to take in the beautiful fall leave changing scenery. This house exceeded our expectations and we spent the majority of time on the gorgeous covered porch. The hot tub was super clean and it was so nice to get out and enjoy the gas fire place and comfy patio furniture. We loved that the porch had a gate to close it in so the dogs could be outside with us safely without having to be tied up. We would definitely be back! The drive up and down the mountain was a bit scary due to the narrow gravel road but as long as you have 4wheel drive you should be fine.

Great stay at a relaxing, clean location!

The property was in great condition and extremely clean (even being dog friendly!). We loved that the deck was wrap around with a gate in the front entrance so the dogs could actually free roam safely around the deck. We had difficulties getting the hot tub to heat up (we did get it to work one night and it felt amazing) but full disclosure we did not put the effort into calling the maintenance number to help get it working...we just sort of gave up and moved on to other activities. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances etc. Had a great time :)

Great family getaway

My husband, 3 adult children and I enjoyed the property very much! We used the grill, lounged on the back deck, spent an evening around the fire pit. We did not use the hot tub, but there’s a huge basket of pool towels available. The kitchen had more than enough for us to prepare 2 breakfasts and three dinners. Comfortable and casual. When we VRBO we are always on the lookout for 3 bedrooms that actually have a full size bed so our kids don’t have to sleep in a twin, so this was a perfect setup. Weekend away

What a great house for a mountain weekend away with our family! We had possible inclement weather during our stay and the property manager text and gave us the option to check out later if needed. Only issue we had was the hot tub would not get above 98 degrees the second night we were there and we felt like it was too late to reach out to the property manager. It worked like a charm the first night though and we all enjoyed it!
