La casa sul fiume

The quiet of a villa in the hinterland at only 5 km from the beach of Albisola. My spacious apartment is situated on the second floor of a villa built in the '50 by my father and recently remodelled. This is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The only sounds you'll hear will be the white noise of the water, running on the nearby rivers. But no worries: the fun is very close, only 5 km away. You can go to the beach during the day and relax by night, with a bbq in the garden.

Literally the best rental property we've ever stayed at.

I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but this really was the best rental we have ever stayed at. It checked all the boxes for us: It was spacious, the views were amazing, it was quiet, and it was in the most charming area. The host was great to communicate with, and the location is a huge plus. It's a short drive (10 min) to a downtown area for shopping and beaches, and only 20-45 minutes from major cities like Savona and Genova (Genoa). We wish we could have stayed longer and will 100% be returning to this rental in the future.

Ellera stay

We enjoyed our stay in Ellera, it was a picture perfect location in a small village, just what we wanted to experience. Wonderful restaurant about 3 minutes from villa. The property was as advertised, large, comfortable and clean. Francesca was very helpful in every way and was available if we needed to speak to her. Another highlite of our trip.

It is a great location in a small community. It is a very spacious house. We had the upper floor and the view of the balcony is beautiful . The contact with the owner is very good. She replies immediately . There is a very good restaurant in the village. And a very small shop on the square where we bought every morning fresh bread. We had a lovely time here.

Great apartment in nice little village

After our stay in Rome this house in Ellera was perfectly situated. Upon our arrival we were friendly greeted by the old inhabitants of Ellera who gathered on the main piazza. The apartment was specious and clean. The bathrooms are modern and nicely finished and also the towels are perfect. The two sleeping rooms were of good size and especially the handmade (crochet) bedlinnen was lovely and gave a luxurious touch. We also enjoyed the garden on the left side of the house. There we found a long table and a BBQ in a romantic setting. Very typical for this place were the various sounds during the night from all kinds of animals: dogs, geese, cats, frogs, ducks, etcetera. During our stay we made several visits in the surroundings of Ellera and enjoyed the beatiful beaches of the Ligurian coast. Two remarks: the apartment has by definition two bedrooms (two rooms with beds and a door to close the room, not three) and on the ground floor there is another apartment with guests that can be heard from the apartment when they sit outside.

Gepflegtes Haus in malerischem Dorf

Eines der wenigen Ferienhäuser, dem man abnimmt, dass hier der Besitzer selbst ebenfalls gerne wohnt. Sehr gute Ausstattung, schönes Mobiliar und sehr viele persönliche Accessoires. Außenbereich mit großem Garten. Einziges Manko - wie so oft in Südeuropa: Zu geringer Wasserdruck aus der Dusche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Rundum sehr empfehlenswert.

My house, built by my father in the '50 and recently completely remodeled, is in the typical Italian "borgo" of Ellera, where you can enjoy the quiet of the countryside and the fun of the beach and Mediterranean sea. It is perfect for a family vacation, where children can enjoy the garden and the playground while the parents can relax with a book. There is plenty of books in the house, in Italian, English, French and German language.

What makes this property unique

A public pool and a golf course are located in the near village of Luceto (3 kilometers away). The beaches of Albisola are 5 kilometers away. Albisola is also very well known for its ceramic artistry.
