Thank you for sharing your experience. We are surprised by these claims as they do not align with our check-in logs or previous guest feedback. We want to clarify for future guests that the property is inspected prior to checkin. We do an inspection to make sure everything is as it should be. The property was thoroughly cleaned free from dust, insects, and all filters on the ACs were removed and cleaned as well. Oven, microwave, toaster oven and stove were all cleaned as well as all utensils, Prior to checking in. When the guest checked in, she did call us to express how clean and how beautiful the views from balcony. She also asked if we had fishing rods so they can fish from the canal. We expressed that we do not supply fishing rods and told her where she could buy some. Next day, she contacted us to state that she had gone in our storage unit that’s outside on the dock and was looking around saw an empty case that could probably fit her fishing rods so that she can take them on the plane. We were confused and didn’t know what she was talking about. She sent us a picture of the case. We apologize that the unit was left unlocked and kindly asked her to please put the case back and that someone would be by to lock the unit. We apologized that we couldn’t accommodate her in the transport of her fishing rods, but we understand how she could be upset . While we strive for perfection, some claims made here are simply not accurate. We take pride in providing a high-quality experience and wish the guest well."
