We loved this property! The home is very nice, the pool was awesome and clean. The dock was awesome, we got to see manatees in the canal a few times and once he came right up to us and poked his nose out of the water, it was so awesome!! Loved everything about it other than the downstairs bedroom with its own entrance, there is a strong smell of probably mildew in there so we didn’t use that room. Everything else was top notch!! The location is perfect too!

Excellent House, Great Location!

We enjoyed this house as two families of four. There was plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, perfect location, maintained dock, balconies all around. We enjoyed the screened porch in the evening, pulled our boat right up to the dock, sipped on pina coladas in the tiki bar, relaxed in the hammock, played in the pool, explored the area, utilized the kayaks and paddle boards, etc. There wasn’t one boring moment! We’ve been coming to the Keys for spring break for years and this was on of the nicest homes yet.

Family Trip

Very nice property with plenty of room for our family trip. The pool area and dock are great. Close to lots of great places to eat. We would definitely rent this house again!

Great location, great home

Great house exactly as listed. This house has everything you need for a great stay in Marathon, tons of extras. We enjoyed days at the pool and days exploring the keys, it has it all. We will be back again!

I’m Great stay in the Keys

The house and property were so lovely! We had 3 friends join us for the weekend, a couple and a woman so the 3-way split bedrooms were perfect. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The favorite gathering place was the screened-in patio area; even in the daytime it was comfortable and breezy. This may be our new favorite place to stay-we really loved the balconies and quiet location. Everything was perfect! s were perfect. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked. Wonderful location, great house, pool, tiki bar and dock!

This house provided everything you would want on your Keys vacation! Great space, furnishings, and resort living! The heated pool, kayaks, and paddle boards provided lots for options for enjoying the Florida weather. If you have a boat, the location is just a short ride from Sombrero Beach. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets! We highly recommend this property! The communication with the owner and property manager was best in class!

Great layout and close to everything

We have been going to the Keys every year for about 15 years and this is the best place we stayed. We had the parents stay downstairs and the “kids” (30 year olds with toddlers) stay upstairs. Very close to Publix, Kmart, etc, and the beach. It took some time to get out of the canals by boat but it’s a nice ride with nice views of homes and mangroves. We will definitely stay here again!

Vacation in the Keys with friends!

Very nice home on a canal, kayaks, paddle board, heated pool, very nice area to hang out in, trees, privacy. The screened in room was a great place for one couples early morning tv and coffee. Upstairs balconies to let you be in the sun or shade as you please! Home is very well equipped!

Awesome Spring Break Vacay!

This was a beautiful and well-equipped vacation home that was exactly what the pictures and listing portrayed. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle board and loved having our own private pool. Plenty of room for all 7 of us and close proximity to the beach and great restaurants. The only amenity we missed was having some chairs to take to the beach with us, otherwise the home had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any of my questions. Would definitely recommend!

Everything we wanted

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed and was set up very well for our boat. The dock was in great shape and we loved the fish cleaning station and water supply. We also appreciated the downstairs bedroom with easy access to the pool and the screened in patio and the ground floor bedroom were perfect four our two dogs. The upstairs bedrooms all had nice balcony views and everyone enjoyed their stay. The additional fridge in the kitchen and freezer downstairs were also very helpful. We loved the landscaping around the pool and the tiki bar. The close proximity to grocery stores and shops was also nice. We would recommend this house!

Winter get away

Great location, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of grocery store and Walgreens. The kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor area. Plenty of pool towels and the kayaks were nice to have available. We had some issues during our stay but Beth was quick to respond. The downstairs bedroom needs more attention. It was not as clean as the upstairs area. We stay in Marathon every February to escape the winter of the Midwest, We had not stayed in this neighborhood before, I would recommend it,

Labor day 2020

The house is very nice, the location is perfect, and the keys are beautiful! Our vacation was great! I have no gripes about anything just want to leave the most honest review I can. The only problems we had were the refrigerator takes 24 hours to cool (check in at 4pm then the next day at 4pm it will be cold) so bring coolers to keep your perishables cold the first 2 days. The front door dead bolt was removed so technically from the inside the door is always unlocked (not good for 3 year olds) even though it was locked from the outside they could still randomly open it. In the listing it never mentioned that the room downstairs isn't connected to the rest of the house so that was a surprise when we got there. Only the master bedroom has a TV, so if you bring kids then plan on them only being able to watch TV in the living room (that sucked for bedtime). The screen room downstairs had a bucket to catch the ac condensation right in the middle of the floor (trying to keep your kids from playing in a random bucket of water isn't easy) and the TV down there did not work consistently (it would just flash on and off repetitively). The dock holds two 24ft boats and the pool is very refreshing. The driveway easily hold 3 vehicles plus a boat trailer. There is a front gate which is nice for keeping the creepers out while you are gone (just watch out that it doesn't fall off the track and take out a child). Lastly, if you do not take out the trash while you are there on designated trash days, wash and put away all your towels (pool and bathroom), or wash and put away all the dirty dishes before you leave then they will fine you. All the places I have stayed, I have never had to clean everything and also pay a cleaning fee...

Nice location in Marathon at end of canal

This property is well kept and very close to the Winn Dixie and Publix in Marathon! We had 6 adults and 2 kids. The golf course across the street is under going renovation but the neighbors are a nice distance and you’re close to the end of the canal so not much boat traffic except those close by. We had a manatee visit one morning and lots of fish were biting! The ground floor room is small but has a bed and sofa, tiny bathroom. There is no TV in that room. Small but private and sliding glass doors to the pool. The screened porch on the ground floor is really nice and has a tv and mini fridge and patio furniture. There is a freezer outside, picnic table and kiddie picnic table. Lots of chairs on this property of all kinds. Almost thirty! The grill are and tiki bar are really enjoyable. The pool was a good size for our family of 8 with two kids. Several floats and noodles as well as life jackets. We rented a boat for 3 days and docked it here. It’s quicker to access the ocean at sombrero beach, you can also go around to come out by 7 mile bridge. Either way it takes at least 15 minutes to get through the canal since you have to go at idle speed. Upstairs the master has a private bathroom. The 2nd room is directly across from the shared bathroom and has a king bed. The 3rd bedroom upstairs is off the living room with frosted doors. Our kids stayed in there but adults could stay as well but it is small. No closet but has a cabinet that you can hang shirts or pants in. No tvs in upstairs rooms except master. Lovely table for 6, living room with big tv with Netflix. The kitchen and laundry are nice. We had detergent and dishwasher tabs there for us as well as trash bags, sandwich bags, reusable containers and lots of salt and pepper :-). Take a look at what’s in all the cabinets before you go shopping. Beth is quick to answer any questions and I would recommend this property and stay again. Suggestion: please add a steamer pot and perhaps a few standard size pillows to have available to choose from and a few additional blankets. Thank you!

Peaceful and convenient location

The location was great, and we really enjoyed the upper level! (We didnt really use the lower space) Pool wash well cared for and the dock was perfect. The screened in area was helpful since the mosquitos were bad the time of year we visited. I really loved all the loan games and bicycles at the property for use. A bonus was we were walking distance to Publix and a few other small businesses.
