Bright top floor apartment centrally located two blocks from Salamanca in charming Battery Point. Comprising one bedroom with ensuite, an open plan living room and kitchen with direct access to a private balcony, and a sitting area. Parking for one vehicle provided. This comfortable property offers quality finishes and décor throughout, with excellent views out to the Derwent River Estuary, providing the perfect environment to wind down at the end of a long day. Note - the apartment is up two flights of stairs - there is no lift.
LIVING AREA - 3 seater leather couch, smart TV, Wi-Fi internet.
KITCHEN - Cooktop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and quality utensils and tableware - perfect for cooking up a storm or just enjoying a freshly brewed coffee. Basic cooking supplies provided - oil, herbs and spices, as well as coffee (Nespresso pods, plunger + instant), milk and a selection of black and herbal teas.
DINING /SITTING AREA - 2 seater round table with 2 dining chairs for soaking up the views. 2.5 seater leather couch which can convert into a double bed with inner spring mattress. Please advise at the time of booking if the sofa bed is required when booking is for two people. Note there is no door to the sitting area - it is part of the open plan living space.
BEDROOM - Spacious built in mirrored wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps with wireless chargers, queen bed with quality professionally laundered linen to provide you with a peaceful sleep. Note the bedroom has no door, it is part of the open plan design.
ENSUITE BATHROOM - step into shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail, LG combination washing machine and dryer, hairdryer, toiletries provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). Note the bathroom is accessed through the bedroom.
PARKING - Free open air parking bay at the rear of the building. Free Parking is also available on the street. A 2 hour limit applies 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-3pm Saturday.
GUEST ACCESS The place is yours to call home during your stay. The apartment is one of twelve private apartments in the building so we ask to please respect our neighbors, keeping a noise to a minimum after 10pm.
HEATING / COOLING - For those warm days (very few in Hobart!) there is ample cool air flow by opening windows or using the bladeless tower fan. On those chilly days there are two panel heaters available, an electric blanket on the bed and extra blankets. There is no heat pump / air conditioning.
CHECK IN/OUT FLEXIBILITY - Earlier check in and later check out may be possible dependent on other bookings.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Django's by Salamanca is in BATTERY POINT - Hobart's village feel residential area characterised by historic buildings. The popular Jackman & McCross Bakery and Cafe make a mean coffee and is less than a 5 minute walk; as well as the infamous Da Angelos Italian restaurant, Thai and Indian options too. Florist, hairdresser and boutique homewares stores. Great to just walk around the village enjoying the architecture and coastal views.
400 metres away is SALAMANCA - The historic, creative and cultural hub of Hobart featuring top restaurants, bars, Saturday markets, artist studios, arts studios, theatre, supermarket stocking fresh gourmet Tasmanian produce, and a wide range of stores.
The HOBART WATERFRONT adjacent to Salamanca is a short 5-10 minute walk and features more top restaurants and bars, home to world class festivals and events such as Dark Mofo, Taste of Tasmania, Wooden Boat Festival, Sydney to Hobart yacht race, Festival of Voices. Also launching point for ferries to range of destinations including MONA.
GETTING THERE AND AROUND The apartment is a 25 minute drive from the Hobart Airport ($50-70 taxi, $30-40 uber, $20 Skybus airport shuttle).
Just about all you need and places to visit are in walking distance. If you're travelling further afield the bus interchange is a 15 minute walk.

This is a great place for a couple and in a lovely neighbourhood. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Excellent communication with the host and I highly recommend this rental.
Django's by Salamanca appartment has all the ammenities you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is thoughtfully presented. It has good views over the Derwent River. It is an easy 300m walk to the Salamanca Market.

Carol was great we checked in early and had everything we needed for a great stay. The flat is handy to everything and we used it as a base to explore Hobart. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a great stay at Carol’s place. It was spotless and well supplied, just as advertised. Close to Salamanca Market and the Harbor. Highly recommend!
A 4 night stay over Christmas in this well equipped apartment was a nice break in our travels. The location is perfect for exploring the Battery Point, Salamanca & the city.
My sister and I loved our stay at Battery Point. Perfect location, easy to get around to Salamanca, the Wharf and even discovered the amazing Hampden Road and it’s lovely restored buildings and cafes…the unit had great views to the Derwent river and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony soaking up the view. Would stay here again.
Tastefully decorated, very clean and well stocked, comfortable bed, light and views in abundance from multiple aspects. Absolutely fabulous location in beautiful Battery Point, one minute walk to restaurants on Hampton Road. Carol provided good clear communication. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely, well appointed, well equipped, light and bright apartment in a perfect location with off street parking. It had everything I needed for a 1 week stay in Hobart. Carol is a fabulous host with prompt and clear communications. I would stay here again.
Carol offered fantastic detail in lead up to our arrival, and offered assistance once we’d arrived. Clean & tidy, this apartment had everything we needed, was perfect for a couple, with wonderful view on 3rd floor - absol. perfect location for our Hobart extended weekend - everywhere was within walking distance. Most beautiful part of Hobart - look forward to visiting again! But we may byo pillows next time.
This apartment is beautiful and easy living. As soon as the door opens you see the view of the Derwent River. It is open plan, clean, and comfortable. And an ideal location. A peaceful neighbourhood but within a few minutes walk is the beautiful Hampden Road, Salamanca Place and just a few extra minutes is the wharf precinct. We didn't use our hire car for two days as we walked everywhere. Communication was easy with good followup to make sure everything was ok. So very happy we stayed here.
Location, location, location. Mins to cafes, restaurants, grocery, deli and ferry to MONA. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable bed, quality sheets and towels. Cleaning could have been a bit better, rubbish not removed from previous guest. Coffee machine and frother not cleaned. Frother missing a bit so couldn’t use. Overall, we were happy and would definitely recommend.
