About this property

Lake house, new dock, boat slip. Great golfing & fishing. Sleeps 6 Adults.

We are offering our lovely home to families with children and pets. Our home is located right on a gorgeous lake with a brand new dock and an oversized deck. Large dock, outdoor furniture, a gas grill, and a gas griddle for outdoor cooking. There are 2 kayaks, a lily pad, and 2 bicycles available to use.

You will appreciate a beautiful sunset view on the lake as well as the whole atmosphere of the newly remodeled house.

Our home is spacious. It has a ​vaulted ceiling and hardwood floor throughout. On cold nights, you can warm up by the fireplace in our huge living room while spending quality time with your family. The kitchen comes with cooking ware and condiments you might need for your stay. Groceries can be bought at Woods or HyVee on your way in or ordered for delivery.

The house is located in the Village of the Four Seasons, close to restaurants by car or by boat. There is a convenient store on Horseshoe Bend & Bittersweet, about 2.2 miles from the house. Short walk to Shady Gator’s and H-Toad’s and 5 minutes boat ride to Tap-n-Grill. We are only 15 minutes to the strip and Bagnell Dam.

Very well maintained home that has everything you need for a relaxing and fun lake vacation. The house is very clean with modern updates. This house is in a great location that is super convenient and near a marina for boat rental. The host was easy to deal with and maintained great communication throughout our stay. I highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The house was inviting and cozy. We spent a lot of time and thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen in the evenings. The dock is where we spent the majority of our time. What a well thought out and built dock. We had plenty of space to gather, play and enjoy the water. I went out every morning around 6am and caught my share of fish, right off the dock. My family was over the moon about your Accommodations. We will definitely stay with you again and would love to be a reference for you.

Special memories made with grandchildren from London. First time lake visitors. Rented wave runner from Camden on the Lake which is very close. A highlight for sure. Large home and dock. Informative hosts. Great location with equipment provided: Lily pad to master as well as a paddle board. Glad kayaks were provided. Big surprise was no mosquitoes.

Everything you need, Peaceful location

Two couples with children and a teenager all enjoyed their stays here. Enough room to spread out for everyone. We loved all the extras and amenities, including tons of board games, as well as a wine fridge, which was put to good use! Nice, large deck where we could relax and also where we caught a ton of fish. An incredible, brand new boat dock plus a swim platform with easy water access for swimmers and those who make use of the kayaks. Not much busy boat traffic, which we appreciated. The hosts were friendly and very patient with our questions. We hope to come back again next year!

Great Lake house

It is exactly described and more. Great location on the lake. It never got old sitting and watching the sunset. The house has everything from life jackets and sunscreen to beach towels and games. Kayaks were great to use. Quieter end of horseshoe bend. Still at most 10-20 minutes to anything you need (restaurants, hyvee). Great communication with owners who were very responsive. And it’s pet friendly. Very spacious deck. One of our favorite features.

What makes this property unique

We are only a short distance from many restaurants by car or boat. Our house is unique because the backyard is by the lake. The house was built right on the water in the late 70s, which is no longer permitted by the local jurisdiction. This is a beautiful cove with the most stunning view of the sunset. You will never get tired of sitting on the dock watching the sunset and listening to the water splashing against the seawalls.
