Located just 10 minutes North of the Kaikoura township.
Fantastic Bach with direct beach access.
Two spacious bedrooms with a comfortable queen bed in each.
Open living/kitchen areas which open out to beautiful front and back decks.
Private fenced courtyard and own beach access. Can view the surf break from your lounge chair!
All the mod cons, Netflix, unlimited Wifi, Dishwasher, Washing Machine,
Wood Burner, outdoor BBQ and did I mention.... your own beach!
Epic surf break @ Mangamaunu just a 5 minute walk up the beach or 2 minute drive in the car! Close to Meatworks, Graveyards and Irongate.
Great surf casting right out front.
Big opening Bi-folding doors and windows for those beautiful sunny days.
Although only 5 years old, this is a very well established Bach & nestled in amongst lovely trees.

Suitable for up to 4 Adults.
Off-street parking for 2 and a boat or trailer!
Responsible dog owners and their dogs are also very welcome.
(Please ask re fencing)

Please note: the railway line runs between the house and the beach and although there are not many trains, when they do come by, they are very close! This is a novelty for most people, but we understand it's not for everyone.

This is not a serviced Bach so you need to supply your own linen, towels & tea towels and clean after your stay. All cleaning equipment is supplied, but you have to do a good job!

The internet can be temperamental due it being on the old copper network.

Kaikoura Stay Over

Lovely bach to stay in. Very user friendly, great beach frontage, I was allowed to take my dogs so the beach walks were wonderful. Easy to clean, all appliances were there, amazing shower too. Would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous getaway!

My husband, two dogs, and I spent two beautiful days at the Red House. The check-in process was easy, and Sandy responded quickly in all communication. We had great weather, and the dogs enjoyed running around the beach. The house had everything we needed for our stay, was very warm, and had a great shower. The noise from the highway was loud, but it didn't bother us. The trains come past three times a day. (Coastal Pacific and long freight train). They are loud, fast, and very close to the house, which might frighten some dogs. Ours went berserk, but fortunately, the doors facing the beach stayed closed unless we were outside with them. Internet connectivity was slow for two people working at the same time, but it was fine when only one person was on a call. We had pizza from Black Rabbit and can highly recommend it if you like a thin, crunchy pizza base!
