We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! As other reviews have mentioned, the house is immaculate and beautifully decorated—truly professional-level design. We’ve mostly stayed at hotels in the past, and this was our 3rd vacation rental, but it’s hands down the BEST we’ve experienced. Every detail was taken care of, from the cozy living spaces to the fully equipped kitchen. We felt completely at home and well taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. We’ll definitely come back to stay!

Wonderful Oasis

The Nest was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean, comfy beds, cute decor and had the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. It was in a good location close to the beach and places to explore. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful & Peaceful Retreat in Kitty Hawk

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Kitty Hawk. The house was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, inviting feel that reminded us of our former home in Rehoboth Beach. It’s in a quiet location, perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet still convenient to everything the Outer Banks has to offer. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was our first time visiting OBX and reserving a house, this location is within short driving distance to restaurants, historic sites and beach access points. We were able to explore Duck to Manteo, thank you for up keeping a welcoming home.

The house was imposing with high-quality grade building materials and appliances. The beds and seating were very comfortable. The outdoor space was lovely. It is a quiet street with low traffic. My brother and sisters would rent this home again.

Love the Nest!

What a great stay we had at the Nest. The house comfortably accommodated our family, everything was clean and well-stocked, and the owners were extremely responsive when we had a couple questions. Although we couldn’t walk to the beach, parking was easy to get to and readily available. We were sad to leave!

OBX Vaca

This house was fantastic. Well stocked with towels and beach supplies. 4 chairs and an umbrella. Porches we’re fantastic for evening lounging. The owner was wonderful about communication before the trip and they even left the sweetest welcome note and a bottle of wine.

Perfect Getaway in the Outer Banks – A Home Away from Home

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely vacation home in the Outer Banks. The house was incredibly cozy and lovingly furnished, making us feel right at home. The neighborhood was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with the neighbors. The outdoor shower was fantastic, and the view from the property was simply breathtaking. Everything was very clean, and the beach equipment provided was super helpful. But our favorite feature was the swing—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Thank you for an amazing stay! We would love to come back again.

Perfection!

We absolutely loved staying at The Nest during our week in the Outer Banks. The house was beautiful, modern with a lot of space and fully supplied with towels, linens, Beach supplies and cleaning products (the house was spotless when we arrived!). The house is located on a quiet dead end street with very friendly neighbors. Communication with Matt was very easy and we had no issues whatsoever! Hope to stay here again and again!

House was Incredible!

I’ve. been going to the Outer Banks all my life, stayed all up and down the island and never seen a more beautiful beach house. New modern concept, great open floor plan, plenty of room and more amenities than you can imagine. Ideally located with a quick hop to a public beach access and plenty of restaurants. Proper owner was almost as good as the house - Friendly and very quick to communicate. Would recommend this house to anyone who’s looking to stay in the Outer Banks! Couldn’t imagine staying in an old outdated house after staying in this gem.
