Where do I begin?! :) The Nest is THE place to stay in OBX! :) We enjoyed our 5 day stay --- and, with a 6, 4, and 1 year old! :) The location has easy access to all locations in OBX we wanted to visit on our trip (i.e. Wright Brothers, NC Aquarium, Roanoke Island Festival Park, Putt Putt, and, of course the beach!). The Nest was clean and neat! The views were amazing --- I enjoyed every sun rise from the comfort of the home! :) With any questions we had (which were very few and minor), The hosts were quick and responsive! :) The beach is a very short drive --- and it was so awesome the gear the Nest provided (i.e. beach chairs, beach toys, umbrella). I would say this is a great location for a family to stay a few days to a more like a week! :) The kitchen has great supplies - especially the outdoor griddle, that we actually never ate outside our home! :) It was a great way to enjoy meals at our own pace! :) I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone! :) Thank you for a great stay! :)

Beautiful & Peaceful Retreat in Kitty Hawk

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Kitty Hawk. The house was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, inviting feel that reminded us of our former home in Rehoboth Beach. It’s in a quiet location, perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet still convenient to everything the Outer Banks has to offer. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat. We would absolutely stay here again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! As other reviews have mentioned, the house is immaculate and beautifully decorated—truly professional-level design. We’ve mostly stayed at hotels in the past, and this was our 3rd vacation rental, but it’s hands down the BEST we’ve experienced. Every detail was taken care of, from the cozy living spaces to the fully equipped kitchen. We felt completely at home and well taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. We’ll definitely come back to stay!

This was our first time visiting OBX and reserving a house, this location is within short driving distance to restaurants, historic sites and beach access points. Love the Nest!

What a great stay we had at the Nest. The house comfortably accommodated our family, everything was clean and well-stocked, and the owners were extremely responsive when we had a couple questions. Although we couldn’t walk to the beach, parking was easy to get to and readily available. We were sad to leave!
