the 3 bedrooms worked perfect for our group of 10. The large kitchen, dining room and living room helped us create lots of great memories. We really enjoyed the gas fire pit outside and had a lot of laughs there.

This house was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend away in Fredericksburg! Super cute and clean, very spacious, and fully stocked with everything we needed and then some! Great beds and bedroom set ups, very nice bathrooms!! I highly recommend this rental and the host Danielle was wonderful. I would stay again for sure!

Juniper House treated us right. It was a lovely, clean, and super spacious rental for our family of four. We enjoyed taking evening walks with the kids around the neighborhood. Location was just right for us to be close to shops/restaurants, but far enough away from hustle/bustle. Overall, Juniper House was fantastic!

We had such a pleasant stay. A lovely and delightful place where everything was immaculate! The owner is very hospitable and sweet and reaponds to messages promptly. Our girls vacay was a hit! Wish we had more time 😊. Definitely recommened staying here as its right near main street and shopping and dining are all very close by.

Our experience at the Juniper House was fantastic!!! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect- even brought over new chairs for the back yard due to hail storm damage. Beautiful Home - Perfect Location

As soon as we walked into the house, we immediately felt so welcomed. From extra blankets/pillows to laundry detergent, the owners made sure to provide everything we could possibly require. The kitchen was one of our favorite rooms in the house - it even included a little coffee station! The location was amazing which made it super easy for us to head to our bucket list of destinations (main street, parks, breweries, etc.). Admittedly, I’m a snob when it comes to bedding and these beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We cannot wait to stay here again on our next trip back to Fredericksburg!

We booked The Juniper House for a bachelorette party. It was absolutely perfect. The house is pristine and well stocked with everything you would need. The house is decorated beautifully and the layout is well thought out and open. Everyone commented on how cute the bedding was and how comfortable the beds were. The linens are high quality and we never ran out of towels--an impressive feat in a houseful of women. We are trying to figure out how we can come back again!

Wonderful home for our stay

Traveled from Galveston for destination wedding at Enchanted Rock with our multigenerational family. This home was a perfect location for our home base! Upon arriving the young children headed to the back yard for hunting bugs and racing cars on the large driveway. Hotdog roast for dinner and warming at fire pit was super. The house is thoughtfully laid out with every possible amenity. Beds are very comfy with extra linens and pillows. We appreciated the toiletries and coffee makings. Communication and directions were very good and check-in was quick. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun fun fun

This property is great ! The host was sweet and easy to reach with any concerns! The house next door is really bad but didn’t cause us any problems! The shower in the master bedroom needs some deep cleaning! I would suggest getting curtains or shades for windows on front and back doors ! We really didn’t like that at night you can see into the house through front and back door windows ! We really enjoyed our stay in this pretty house !

We have always loved coming out to the Hill Country! Randy's family came from Germany in the 1800's and settled in Fredericksburg so it holds a special place in our hearts. We moved our family to FBG from Austin seven years ago and we love the slower pace of life and serene town. We own and operate the cottage ourselves and are thrilled to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

Built in 1905, this completely redone and updated cottage is a lovely get-away. Located just 8 blocks from Main Street, you will feel the slower pace of life and the small-town vibe while being under a minute's drive to the hustle and bustle.

We have outfitted the house with high-quality beds and linens and created a space that feels clean, quaint, and modern. We live in Fredericksburg and love this little town! We have loved hosting many visitors to this sweet place and sharing a quiet and quaint get-away. Randy's ancestors settled in Fredericksburg in the 1840's and now we get to share this German hospitality with you!
