Extensively remodeled Brookside Chalet in 2023 is the ultimate ski location with a short walk in your boots to the ski lifts. A great vacation location year round with winter sports as well as beautiful ,cool, summer days for golfing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, and so much more. A rustic cedar cabin with a new gas fireplace, covered hot tub with mood lighting, located on a babbling brook (Yoakum Run).
For those indoor days and the younger set, the cabin is equipped with a new 55 inch Samsung smart tv, TV's in every room, and all new stainless steel appliances.

Owners Bios: Pete and Jean Smith, owners of Brookside Chalet have created a wonderful getaway from the busy lifestyles of today.Pete, an Annapolis graduate, Navy Carrier Pilot and a career Naval Officer and Jean, a registered Nurse, Mother of five and Grandmother of ten built their dream home in the unique Canaan Valley to escape Washington DC. All the grandchildren learned to ski there, and the fondest memories of the holidays are those shared in the great room as a family.
