Great location & property. Rented this house for an annual girls trip. Hosts were amazing — great communication, starting with the booking and all the way through check out. House is set up really nice - with a screened in deck & an open deck with a hot tub. Easily accommodated 8 women. Beds were comfy & each bedroom has a bathroom. Located in the Estates of the Margaritaville Resort. Easy access to the resort , including restaurants & pools. Also east access to 2 different community pools. Would absolutely rent again.

Fun Weekend Getaway

This was a great place for our big bachelor/bachelorette party! Plenty of space to hang out on the main level, and the rooms were both roomy and cozy! The screened in back porch was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, and then the hot tub was the perfect place to wind down for the night. Great location, close to fun things to do, and great places to eat. The guys enjoyed golfing at the golf course nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great house.

Every summer we stay in tan-tar-a for a long weekend, and in the last five summers this is the best house we've stayed at. Lots of tan-tar-a houses have little quirks (sliding doors that are really hard to open/close, old/loud HVAC, small kitchens, etc).This house had none of those issues. Great kitchen size, beautiful deck with easy open doors, and quality air conditioners in every bedroom. Bonus points for families, the house is a 90 second walk to the play ground and a four minute flat walk to the community pool (no big hills).Already looking at booking the same house for next summer.

Quiet peaceful stay

Quiet peaceful neighborhood with beautiful views. Kitchen was adequately stocked. Private hot tub on the deck with woods for privacy, felt like we were in a treehouse. We had a wonderful stay, Sharon was very attentive and responsive to all requests. The bedding and some of the bedrooms could use some updates but overall a comfortable welcoming home.

Wonder large home for a family get together

Property was good for a large gathering. We had 9 adults and an infant. Large kitchen and two grills made cooking when we wanted a breeze. The gas grill quickly ran out of propane after 10 minutes was a negative. Second grill is an electric Blackstone. Hot tub was enjoying as well as the large table for playing games.

Well stocked and spacious

The house is large with plenty of space, bathrooms and bedrooms were plenty. The kitchen was well sticked as were the bathrooms. Beds were comfy and each floor was far enough and soundproof enough that you could have your own space. Only one negative, the floors weren't clean- the bottoms of our feet were black with dirt. Otherwise everything was great!

Girls trip

This property was perfect for our girls’ getaway. The number of bedrooms and baths allowed us enough space. Beds were comfortable and individual air conditioners in each bedroom allowed us to have individual control over coolness or warmth. Lots of fun things to do nearby. Excellent restaurants. Because it was summer and hot, we didn’t use the porches. The mosquitoes were pretty bad too but that was somewhat expected. The owner checked in with us and promptly answered questions.

We followed up with the homeowners, who asked us to share this response: We certainly understand the sensitivity regarding cleanliness, especially during these COVID days. We do take pride in our homes here at the lake and are willing to do whatever it takes to make our guests happy. We live in the area and are available 24/7 for any issues. Had I known you were not happy, I would have had our cleaning company there on the spot to take care of any issues. We truly appreciate your business and hope you come back and allow us to work with you.

Positives….plenty of space for our family of 11. Loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Negatives….house can sleep 14 but only silverware for 6!! That wasn’t convenient not having enough for everyone to get through one meal. Place could have been cleaner. Back patio wasn’t very clean and the blackstone had to be cleaned before we could use it. The grill was very dirty and that needed to be cleaned before we could use it. The hot tub needed chlorine and there wasn’t any at the house

Enjoyed our Stay

We enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor issues however the property mangers were very nice and took care of them. I would recommend bringing towels and if you plan on cooking your meals bring your own cookware and serving dishes. There are no serving bowls and the cookware is not suitable. There is only a small electric grill.

Just fine

Overall the property was fine. We felt it lacked many small amenities that would have greatly enhanced the stay. There were no extra sponges or dish clothes for the kitchen cleaning. No extra towels for the bathrooms and we had 2 families of 5. Would have appreciated soap in the showers and Kleenex tissues. The bedding was worn and some stains and rather used/flat pillows. Television was challenging as some of the TVs had no batteries in remotes and they were not connected for use. It seemed the cleaning process is very quick as we found food wrappers and food behind dressers and beds. The good news is there was a bed for everyone, nice carpeting in the basement and a great location. We enjoyed our stay.

We take pride in our management staff, and these are all easy fixes. -I live in the area, and I am truly a 24/7 property manager. I would have been more than happy to come down and take care of any issue! -Most cleaning companies here have the same general rule of thumb with towel quantities. For that reason, I also leave my laundry facility open for our guests to use. -I will go to the house right now making sure all remotes are working and supplies are filled. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay here at The Lake of the Ozarks, and we hope you visit again!"
