We were a group of 7 ladies having a getaway weekend to catch up and relax. The owner was very helpful in the entire process from veginning to end. The beds upstairs were not comfortable (but we are older with health issues). The grill was dirty with debris from previous grilling and moldy. Owner made aware and apologized. But everything else was fabulous. Plenty of room for all of us. The natural surroundings were perfect and beautiful. The house was furnished with the cooking /cleaning supplies needed for all of our needs. Overall it was nice and I would definitely book this place again.
Thank you Jose!

BB rental
Our stay was just fine. It was exactly what we needed. Relaxing, no stress, comfortable, and a perfect size. The house was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed and more. Jose the owner was available when ever I needed him. The evolve team was great, they took are of all my needs from the start. I had to rearrange some dates and it was an easy process. I definitely will use them again next time I plan a trip and I would recommend others to do the same…Thank you again for everything.
First, the home and location were both very nice and what we wanted for our escape weekend.
Second, this was a spur of the moment weekend getaway for my wife and I, booking it just a week ahead of time.
The problems were all issues with the booking, checking in, and management company.
1) I am still waiting for the rental management company to answer my e-mail about some questions I had about the property.
Issues that were required that weren't mentioned in the rental agreement:
2) a separate form needed to sent in to the Big Bass Lake Association, through the owner, and be received "at least 5 days ahead of check in." The fine for this is $500 if it isn't received.
3) it took at least 8 hours for the owner to contact me when I had a concern.
4) the management company sends me an e-mail telling me I needed a registration number to check-in. This is now less than 48 hours before I am to arrive. There is a phone number to call if I don't have the registration number. When I call the number it is to Big Bass Lakes, but the office is closed.
Next morning when I call the number I am told "we don't talk to the renters, only the owners." Only after pushing them will they let me know the number was "just sent" to the owner.
So now a day before I am to arrive I am trying to contact the owner-who, when he contacts me hours later-assures me everything is fine and that I don't need the number. He only unwillingly texts me the registration number which the company HE has hired insists I need, which he insist I don't need...(the owner was right, I was never asked for it, but these were all hassles I simply didn't need-or want, for a 2 night stay.)
So, again, the home was very nice, in a lovely area, very convenient to 2 state parks and the Big Bass amenities, there was a lot of hassle and confusion before the trip.
My husband and I had a quick getaway to the Pocono's to see the leaves change- it was great. The house had everything that we needed and was in a nice location. We had an issue getting into the house but the owner helped us immediately and was very nice. We will be back!
Waking up to the fall colors and exploring the lakes around the cottage made our stay worth while.

This cabin in the woods was just what the dr ordered. Clean and cozy cabin in the middle of God’s country. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. Our memories here will last a lifetime... Camelback Adventures close by was an exciting experience as well. Would definitely rent again!
