Welcome to Black Bear Lodge — where the earth meets the sky, the eagles soar, and the stars feel endless. Perched in beautiful Sapphire Valley, this spacious 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home offers stunning views and room for the whole family to relax and unwind.

The main level features two primary suites, each with king beds, while a third king suite is located on the second floor. Also upstairs, you'll find a cozy den with a TV, a queen bedroom with an en-suite bath, and a full bedroom with its own private bath. The top floor is perfect for kids, offering two twin beds with trundles and plenty of space to play.

The well-equipped kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a bar that seats three — perfect for casual breakfasts or evening conversations. The laundry room is conveniently located just off the kitchen.

The living room invites you to gather around the stone fireplace, with plenty of seating and large windows framing the scenic mountain view. You'll also find a wet bar with a mini fridge and a TV, making it an ideal space for entertaining.

Step outside onto the deck and enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.

This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drivable location. You may join for $5/day or $25/week per person. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Zip-Lining, High Ropes Course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on ski lift tickets and ski equipment rentals during the winter season.

Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.
