We were in town for a wedding so we only used the cabin to sleep and shower. We did enjoy sitting on the front porch in the morning with our coffee and enjoying nature. I would highly recommend this cabin. Really cool place.
We were very happy with the cabin. It is well equipped and very comfortable. We particularly liked having Alexa available. It would be a great place in the summer.
overall was something we didnt expect. The cabin was bigger than in the pictures. We did enjoy every space of it. My kids were extremely happy with the playroom, the living room, and even the property, they had a lot of room to play.
Overall we give it a 100% and willing to come back

Nice cabin, no view though
Great little cabin, with flat area for the kids and dog to run around. The view of the mountain was probably there 12 years ago, so that is a bit misleading, trees have grown. 2nd bedroom mattress should be changed out, springs pop as you roll around and not a very good night sleep. Hot tub worked, nice size fire pit, we had fun!
Everything about this property was just okay. For the price I expected there to be something a little nicer about the house but it was just eh. Nothing major to complain about but none of the nice touches or little perks that I have come to associate with a really nice rental property. The furniture was adequate, the hot tub was rarely hot, the location was a little far from everything, the kitchen had basics but nothing extra.
In addition, there is signage and check in steps that talk about up charging and fines every step of the way. Which I found to be kind of cheap and off-putting. It seemed very nickels and dime to me.
Lastly, read ALL of the information very carefully as most of what I referenced was listed somewhere (to be fair) but was downplayed or not shared until after the house was booked.
We enjoyed our stay for the most part and made the best of it but for the price I have stayed at a lot nicer accommodations with owners that have a higher focus on the experience of the renter. I wouldn't go back.
Even in rainy weather, the property was perfect! Hot tub, and game room was awesome!! Needed to have a get away and it was perfect! Gas logs were great for the cool mornings!
Great place. But not very well stocked with everyday things you would use. Example blowdryer, extra towels. If you travel local it would be okay. But coming from West Coast to east coast. You don’t want to pack all that in your carry on especially for 1 weekend. Otherwise very nice and clean.

Liked: Check-in, communication
was ok but needed some attention
A/C in the living room was night working right and dog hair on the floor and window seal needed cleaning.
The cabin was nicely adorned and a pleasant place to stay. It was close to West Jefferson and the directions were easy to follow. The last bit of the road to get to the driveway is no joke, and we were glad we had four wheel drive, even though the weather was perfect. We didn't realize how much we would enjoy a game room until we had access to one. The location was nice, although the people across the road had some small dogs that barked non stop during the day. I know the cabin property manager has nothing to do with that, but it is a "thing" regardless. The WiFi was strong and reliable, but we can not comment on the tv as we never turned any of them on. We would not hesitate to book this property again.
This cabin was beautiful and had many thoughtful touches and amenities to make our stay wonderful! I honestly have nothing negative to say other than I wish I could have stayed longer! I plan on returning for sure!
This cabin was a great place for our family. It was clean and when we encountered problems with the hot tub, Stacy communicated with us quickly about getting a repairman out (problem was fixed later the same day). The hot tub was quite enjoyable thereafter! We utilized the fireplace, fire pit and game room--all were wonderful. The microwave needs to be replaced (the handle is broken--still useable, but the bottom pops off completely & there is a large crack on the door). The flooring in the kitchen/den area needs some repair (has large gaps between some of the boards causing a bit of a tripping hazard in a few spots). It is not truly a three bedroom as the downstairs twin beds are in the open space upon entering the basement, but was not an issue for us as a family (I guess it could be an issue if you need true privacy in more than two bedrooms). Overall, we thought this place was pretty perfect for a family of three (you could easily add a few more folks) and the maintenance items I mentioned above did not really detract from our experience.
Check-in was super easy since we didn't have to stop by any rental office beforehand. House was well-stocked with all the amenities we needed for a 4 day stay and all the cooking we did. We enjoyed the game room, especially since it poured down rain 3 of our 4 days, so that helped with offsetting any cabin fever. Was a 20-ish minute drive to both the Boone and West Jefferson areas. There are several houses/neighborhoods around the home, but the surrounding woods made you feel isolated enough that it offered great privacy. Would definitely stay here again.
Took daughters to visit ASU over fall weekend. Nice place to stay. Quiet, comfortable and convenient! Access roads were dirt and would be difficult in winter without 4x4. In summary a delightful place to stay! I wish we could have spent more time there!
We needed an escape from the busyness of our lives and we found it at Manna Cabin. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and had a fantastic time exploring the area. There were a few things at the cabin that were not working properly on arrival and I made sure to make High Mountain Cabin Rentals aware of the issues so that it can be even better for the next guest. 10/10 recommend Manna Cabin.
It was a nice adventure! It was very quiet and relaxing.
The house is like in the middle of the jungle. To get to the house can be fun if you like to drive. The house is exactly like they described. My two teenagers were very happy about the game room. We really enjoyed our time together as a family.
Our family needed a week away from the chaos of life and we found it at Manna Cabin. The area surrounding the cabin was very quiet and when the rain came, the tin roof over the porch allowed us to soak in even more of the beauty of the area. We will definitely stay again.
