The Hemlock House is a simple, albiet dated, ½ duplex (with storage on the other side) in the small village of South Republic. Enjoy 925 feet of private space. Great for the visiting friends/family in town, a budget vacation rental to hunt or explore the Upper Peninsula, or the digital nomad who needs premium Wifi.
The outside hot tub for 2, with a privacy fence, is ideal for those romantic nights looking up at the stars. The outside hot tub is available year round.
The Hemlock House provides a comfortable living room space. The 3 bedrooms are all upstairs and small. There is 1 Queen bed, 1 Full bed and 1 Twin bunk beds. The 3 small bedrooms are all upstairs and the bathroom is on the main floor. The main floor washer/dryer off the kitchen and across from the bathroom is ideal. It's so nice to be able to warm up your towels for when you get out of the bath/shower.

There are many easy walking or biking trails along the Michigamme River, so it is within reach to feel connected to nature. The Iron Ore Trailhead is an easy 3 miles North, where you can enjoy a trip into Marquette.
