Stay among the saguaros!

Id always wanted to experience staying in the desert among the saguaros but didnt want to camp bc of travelling alone and not having camping experience. This place had all the beauty and quiet i was looking for but hosts nearby if needed. The 2 viewing decks are raised , so i wasnt worried about snakes or other wildlife. The covered ground level patio was a perfect shady retreat during the day. Lots of comfy seating and outdoor dining furniture. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. Beautifully designed! Views from every window. Not much of a trek to great state and ntl parks, but you can walk the roads there and see lots of wildlife and the saguaros. Star gazing was incredible!

This place was a quiet oasis in the Sonaran desert. It was full of cacti, we saw a jackrabbit and heard a coyote. The amenities were great. Sunrise and sunsets - beautiful!!!

Remote getaway

Property is remote, great views. The only things I would change is to have curtains or shades on windows not wide open. Have washer and dryer in house as its 30 minutes to town one way.

Quiet and in the country

This little get away was perfect for me to base my hunting out of. After spending all day stomping around the desert it was nice to come back and relax in a quiet place and enjoy the sounds of birds around the house. I highly recommend this Place for future stays.

Beautiful place and location

We loved it, as the desert can be a wonderful place in the spring when it’s snowing at home. If you book it make sure you have good directions beforehand, as only having the address is not sufficient. Luckily we were able to contact the owner and get pointed in the right direction after a bit of hunting. :)

Desert treat

The property location is fantastic if you're looking to enjoy sunrise/sunset & the stars. Getting a mobile signal was not a problem even with the location feeling a bit remote. The property itself was nice and had everything we needed along with privacy from 2 other homes that are nearby (but hidden well by the cactus and other vegetation). Rich was very helpful and always easy to reach. I'll definitely return.

A warm and friendly greeting

The sunrises and sunsets are the perfect way to start and end my work day. This place captures that exactly. Isolated from the city hustle and bustle, this location offers a considerable and delightful escape into the Arizona night sky, desert vegetation, and subtle wildlife. A great getaway and place to self reflect… not to mention very helpful and polite hosts

Perfect desert retreat

This is a beautiful place off the beaten path. Definitely use Google maps for your GPS directions if you need it. Rich and his wife are so welcoming, And helped us track down the ranch when we got a little off-track. This is an ideal desert retreat. Amazing view of the mountains the beautiful desert surrounds you.
