Easy beach access and in-house amenities

Great beach house. The beach is 1 block away and other beaches like Noosa Heads and Sunshine Coast beaches are a short drive. We were there during a heat wave and it was wonderful to have a little air conditioning to cut through the heat in the afternoon. Kitchen was easy to cook in and we cooked several dinners for the family while there. Beds were comfy and the house was clean and comfortable. I would definitely book again!

Mudjimba beach house

Excellent position, close to beach and eateries. Comfortable accommodation, everything seems to have been well thought out to assist with the stay. Off street parking an added bonus. The only negative was street and traffic noise. We enjoyed our time there.

Spacious beach house

We enjoyed our three night stay. Beds were comfortable and the deck is a lovely space when it is warm enough to sit outside. A short walk to beach, cafes, restaurants and a few small shops but bookings at both restaurants are essential - they were bustling every night of our stay. It was great having a toilet downstairs as well as two bathrooms upstairs. The townhouse is easy to find and communication with the owners was excellent. It is near the airport so flight noise was expected but there were not many early or late flights so it didn’t bother us. There is an island bench with three stools in the kitchen but the main table seating is outside which may not suit everyone.

We had a great experience. Accommodation was very homey. It had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Very lucky as we had the perfect weather during our short stay. Location is close to other interesting sights in the Sunshine Coast ie Noosa, Mooloolaba, Coolum and Maroochydore. Coles Supermarket, medical clinic, local shops are nearby. Cafe and bakery just a few minutes walk. There is a walk way next to the property which is a short cut to the beach. Would consider staying at this property again. It is home away from home.

Perfect location

This is a lovely spacious townhouse in a small complex. I would say it's only suitable for a quiet family or couple because the neighbors are very close. There is a walkway to The Esplanade 30 metres from the address. It rained the entire time I was there but I still found plenty to do - lots of beautiful walks in the area. I absolutely loved Mudjimba and will be back.

We’re based is Brisbane though travelled and lived overseas for 7 years (2 years on a yacht!) with our 2 sons.

We know the value of good hospitality- the kind you get when you're immersed in a community rather than just visiting it.

We also love BnBs and have used them ourselves across Australia, Greece and Turkey. It’s a real pleasure to be able to now host like-minded​ people and return the hospitality that we’ve enjoyed ourselves.

Why they chose this property

We bought in Mudjimba because it has a beautiful, coastal village feel to it. Small, not heavily developed and with just enough amenities to make it comfortable and interesting. It's like the beach we remember growing up with as kids.

In selecting and decorating this townhouse, we wanted to have somewhere close enough to walk to the beach but enough room to spread out and get comfortable. We've gone for a modern coastal feel, lots of light and open space. We wanted to feel at home rather than in a more 'sterile' holiday apartment feel.

What makes this property unique

The great thing about this property is the deck. We spend most of our time out there eating, reading and sleeping. It really brings the outdoors inside.

It's also so central to the village which has a couple of amazing coffee shops and lots to do for kids. There is a playground, outdoor tennis table, skate park and a calm water inlet all close by.

The property is pretty good for grandparents too. With a bathroom downstairs, they can be pretty comfortable all day without having to negotiate the stairs too often if mobility is an issue.
