This house was absolutely perfect for our family. Spacious, clean and cozy. Awesome proximity to the slopes and a quick and easy drive into the town of whitefish. We cannot wait to come back!
Never leave the resort area. Walk to lifts and rentals. Walk to restaurants and bars. Great house with a beautiful kitchen and plenty of space for everyone to hang out.
We had a great stay at this cabin, it was perfect for our family with little kids, and grandparent's. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need, lots of games to play, and very spacious. The boot room is fantastic, location was great.
Great spot for a ski vacation in Whitefish! Very convenient location, very clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and kitchen items! Would definitely stay here again!
This stand alone cabin has 7 Qn beds in 4 bedrooms (1, 1, 2, 3). It is well maintained, very clean, and the kitchen and master bathroom have been updated. The living room area has plenty of room for hanging out and relaxing. It had everything we needed and was a great place for our ski vacation. Chair 3 is located within eyesight of the cabin, about a 200ish ft walk across the street and through the trees, or if you prefer you can walk up Gelande St. and get right onto Hope Slope and ski 100 yards down to Chair 3. Both routes are closer to the lift than parking in any of the resort parking lots making it a good ski in ski out option… with just a short walk. The owners were very responsive and kind through our reservation process. We will definitely try to book again on our next trip!
The house was overall great. It was spacious and clean. I gave it 4 stars only because the coffee pot and toaster need an upgrade. Coffee takes 20-30 minutes to brew and the toaster burns bread even on the lowest setting.
This was a great location for large groups. Very convenient to downtown Whitefish (15 min drive). We came for a music festival and the shuttle had a pickup directly in Whitefish Resort Village, which was great. You get access to the resort village without staying on resort property. Plenty of parking for 2+ vehicles. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning. We went during an unseasonably hot summer and wish the listing had mentioned no AC.
Second time staying here and won’t be the last. Perfect for family ski trip with adult children. Not fancy, very comfortable. Ski storage room is ideal.
We stayed with our family of four…2 adults, 2 teens. We loved the extra space. Everything was well appointed, and the location on the mountain is perfect!!
Home and owners were very accommodating. Home is located close to all the activities. Well stocked kitchen, lots of beds with great linens, we enjoyed the deck and used the outdoor grill.
Thank you for welcoming us.
We hope to return someday
Perfect setting/view to appreciate Whitefish MTN. Great place for me to celebrate my birthday in Whitefish where I was born 89 years ago! Facility accomodation for us with lovely deck. Near places important to our visit Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Glacier National Park and Kalispell. Thanks for having your place available for our 5 day stay in July. Clare
Really couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. We make an annual trip the ski the best mountain in Montana. Now we have found the best place to stay.
Plenty more of room for the seven of us, comfortable beds, updated kitchen, and the location is perfect for skiing. Easy parking and a huge room to store and dry all your gear.
We’ve stayed at probably ten different spots on Whitefish mountain. Many were fancier, but none were better. Great value and friendly hosts. I’ll likely book again next year if they will have us.
My family and I rented this place for a week to attend my Niece's wedding at Whitefish Mountain Resort. The unit was larger than I expected and was equipped with anything you could want including spices and condiments. We entertained a large number of family members who were here for the wedding as this unit is literally across the street from the resort, lifts, and Alpine slide. We had no problems with space or seating for everyone who came by. There are additional chairs and a card table.
We used the grill, which needed some cleaning before I used it but I expected that anywhere I stay. This place has a large deck fitting about 8 people. We loved sitting outside at night and watching the numerous stars in the sky.
We were here when the weather was just about perfect with it getting a little cold at night so we didn't use the heat and left the back patio door open with the screen most of the time we were home. Many of the other windows do not have screens but there are very few insects either. Regardless, we did not leave the windows open because there were no screens and didn't need to either with the nice temperatures.
My parent stayed in the master bedroom which was perfect because there are no stairs needed for them to access the main level right from the car. They like the temp a little warmer and we were asked not to use the baseboard heaters since it was essentially summer so the only choice was to use the central heat to warm up their room at night. There are a lot of blankets in the unit so we opted to just bundle them up with blankets since the rest of us did not want it any warmer and the weather was great the rest of the week.
I can't say that anything was a problem with this home and the location is excellent for using the resort and mountain activities. It was clean with lots of games, supplies, and sleeping spaces. It has a large entry way with room and places to store skis and gear even though we were not skiing. The downstairs bathroom is large enough to dance in it. The laundry is in the basement with two of the bedrooms and included an iron and ironing board which helped immensely. We felt very comfortable in this home and would love to come back again some time in the winter to experience the mountain and town. Whitefish is a beautiful, fun, exciting town with lots of foot traffic and great restaurants, shops, and services. This home was excellent.
Perfect for our family of five. Easy access to the slopes with a ski in option.

About the host
Hosted by Josh and Cindy Smith
We purchased this cabin in 2016. We are a family of 7. Our family loves being active and the outdoors. Our kids are busily involved in lots of different sports and with any winter free time we love to come and spend time on our home away from home on Whitefish Mountain.
Why they chose this property
We love the location of this cabin. It is so close to chair 3. Chair 3 is such a fun run to ski with your family because it's a run that our children all can have fun on together. This cozy cabin provides our family the perfect opportunity for our family to spend time together without any distractions from the outside world.
What makes this property unique
We want to share this cabin with other families and give them the same opportunities that we've been able to experience with our children We hope you enjoy your stay.
