Small Cabin, Big Fun
Loved my vacay. It was me and my 65 pound poodle. The cabin was smaller than I imagined but perfect. I enjoyed a good bit of time relaxing in the hot tub, while Charlie liked the creek. We drove down to the Nantahala raft start and enjoyed the trails. On the way back up to the cabin we stopped at one of the pull offs so he could get in river. The WiFi service was great as I didn’t have a signal with T-MOBILE. There was 1 spot where I had a signal outside. Kent was very responsive and Diane did an awesome job of having the cabin clean and ready for us. I was skeptical the space heater would keep me warm but I burned up, the cabin sure kept its heat which was great. Would love to return when it’s a little warmer to be able to do more exploring.

Nice and quiet
Just a couple of issues. There is a little bit of black mold starting around the bathroom baseboards and towel pegs. Not enough hot water for two showers. Apart from these minor issues, it was just what we were hoping for.

Best trip for couples
Perfect getaway, clean, had everything we needed, and the pet fee was reasonable which is such a help when other places charge a crazy amount to bring your friends along, our dog has just as much fun as we did exploring

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with everything about the property, from the location next to USFS and near the Appalachian Trail, the lay of the land with the creek and steep topography, to the truly quiet and secluded feeling you get staying there.
