Deck overlooking the bay and sunsets nightly, w/ awnings for shade and bar height table w/6 chairs. Full outdoor shower w/changing area. Outdoor grill & fire pit; swimming area from the dock; great fishing, crabbing opportunities, and an area for boat dock. Plenty of area to relax, lounge, and sun; or walk, cycle, or drive the mile into town and enjoy the beach and boardwalk.

Our vacation at the "St. James Resort" (as we called it) was nothing shy of spectacular! Thank you James (the owner) for allowing us to vacation at your home on the beautiful bay! Located in a peaceful, family friendly neighborhood and only a short distance to all of the action. James was wonderful to deal with from day one! Excellent communications, prompt in responding to my numerous questions and extremely informative. The home was impressively clean, very spacious, tastefully decorated in a nautical theme and completely stocked with everything needed! The new kitchen would impress the most seasoned Chef for it offers everything imaginable - cutlery, utensils galore, serving dishes, pots, pans, dinnerware, coffee pots, blender and the list goes on and on! Fresh bed linens and bath towels offer a sense of comfort and home. Outside was amazing and has every amenity one could hope for - canoe, kayak, firepit, crab nets, life jackets, lounge chairs, bikes, etc which makes you feel you are vacationing at a resort! We all loved our stay and everyone had a fantastic time! Thank you James for our perfect vacation and for being the most fabulous host!

Perfect Vacation

The pictures do NOT do this home any justice. This house is perfect from head to toe. Had everything we needed and then some for us to be relaxed and feel like we were on an “island” (although technically we were). Owner was amazingly friendly and helpful. I look forward to 2022!!

Thanksgiving getaway with family

The house was clean and mostly stocked with things you need except needing more towels which was not an issue at all. The dining room table was enough to seat our entire family of 13. The sunsets were beautiful and the fire pit was an extra bonus. We will definitely want to stay again .

Far away feel, but with close-by convenience

Location is great - waterfront, sunset views, kayaking, sailing, fishing, crabbing, swimming - feels like a real getaway. Yet everything is close by - supermarket, restaurants, boardwalk, amusements, ocean beaches. House is great - had everything we needed - BBQ, fire pit, crab traps, big pots, spices in the cabinets, washer-dryer, even skewers for roasting marshmallows. Felt like our own summer house. It was a super stay!!

Just what we needed!

During this uncertain time, we found assurance and comfort in the communication with the owners. Our stay at their home was exactly what we all needed! The home shows lovely in photos but is spectacular in person!! Everything is pristine and the location is a spot of heaven! We can't thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to share such a beautiful time together in such an amazing place!!
