This house is in the perfect location, just a short walk from downtown! Great size for two people, and the hot tub is delightful. The delicious frosted cookies left as a greeting were so lovely, too.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Hideaway. We found everything as promised. We enjoyed the hot tub despite the temperature of the outside air in the 20’s. It was easy access. Also, we loved the faux fireplace with its dancing fire display and heater-perfect for winter nights.
This little hideaway is truly that. What seems to be a garage that was converted into a cute little retreat. Lovely screened porch with a hot tub tucked behind a trifold wall. Very well furnished and very clean hot tub which made for great relaxation after walking Main Street all day.
Walking inside you’re met with a little eating area and the bedroom. It’s one big open area there but really comfortable. There’s a mini fridge and small bar sized sink with some dishes up in the cabinet. Most important- a corkscrew!
Walking in further is the living room with a very comfortable couch, coffee table, and chairs. The TV mounted on the wall is the perfect size for this cozy area.
Onto the bathroom a rather spacious sink area to place all your toiletries and a decent walk in shower.
All around the Hideaway has that quaint, relaxing feel to it. Nicely decorated to give the impression that your comfort is truly thought of.
Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Mail Street attractions but close enough to venture for a walk or just easily drive down the road to park in the midst of it all. I liked it wasn’t where all the noise was but close enough to get anywhere in less than 5 min.
Definitely would make a return trip!
Very nice overall. Too hot to use hot tub. Microwave would not shut off so we had to unplug. Refrigerator needs to be defrosted. We would stay there again.

Definitely a cute, comfortable property. Communication was excellent with response time. The hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. All of the "little things" made this a top chouce for us for our next visit!

so-so
Came to town to see family. If this place was cleaned before our visit I'd be surprised. The shower is moldy, the kitchen sink hasn't been scrubbed in months and the bathroom sink was slimy with pink mold.
The worst bed I've slept in in 20 years. It's right on Main Street but way away from the action.
We didn't need to spend any time in it because we were busy with family but I would not recommend any part of it.

Decent, but not great
This place is OK. The core place really needs updating. The plumbing fixtures are all very old and really need to be replaced. The toilet seat is so old it is peeling and one of the sides has come loose.
It is decorated cheerfully, but there is so much stuff, on every surface, that there is really no place to put your things. There were only two of us (parent and small child) but we still felt cramped.
On the plus side, there are plenty of towels and a lovely packet of snacks, coffee and tea.
I would look for another place before staying here again.
Freezer needed defrosting and maybe a second ice tray. Shower has some mildew. But overall it was good. Enjoyed the hot tub. I loved the bed and slept wonderful but my husband slept on the couch because the bed was too soft. Plenty of towels was nice.
The location was great, close to attractions and main street. Hot tub was good and private. Nicely decorated with great goodies out. Two suggestions for a 5-star rating: 1) The bathroom needs to be redone. There is mold in the shower and around the sink because it's time to replace them both. 2) The area around and the sink in the kitchen area is pretty gross and also needs to be replaced. Other than those two things, the place is nice and great for a weekend stay.
This was the perfect size place for a couple. My wife and I really enjoyed the Christmas theme and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed how warm and cozy it was. The hot tub made it even more enjoyable for us during the cold season. Perfectly hidden off of main street!
Cute place, decor was nice, clean, and comfortable. Privacy of hot tub was good also. Had some issues with hot water heater. But management was very good about communicating with our needs.

Good stay, but.....
The place was great for price and location. We didn't like NOT having privacy, especially where hot tub was located. The main real estate office and parking lot for absolute charm was located on other side of screen -in porch. Back yard was unimproved, brush and dead trees could have been cleaned up a little better. Inside was perfect for couple. Plenty of linens and towels. Fridge was dorm sized and needs some help. Parking is good, cabin somewhat quiet at night. Would have been sweet if we had some privacy.
Place was very clean and cozy. No place to put or store anything while we stayed. Not enough lighting especially around the sink area.

Great Getaway
We had a very nice time at Amoroso Cottage. Great location. More detailed instruction on the Wi-Fi and using the outdoor fireplace would have been appreciated. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Cozy, Comfy, Convenient
Very cozy getaway cottage for two over a four day weekend. Well stocked with amenities, comfy king size bed in downstairs BR, quiet neighborhood, excellent A/C, and plenty of hot water. About a one mile walk to Nimitz Museum so you can cover most of Main St on a down and back walk. Good selection of local guidebooks and info. Would book it again

Pretty decent place to stay
Nice place to stay as far as location and accommodations. Only downfalls were the tiny stairs and one of the showers wouldn't produce hot water. So we ended up only having 1 shower the whole stay. The bathrooms are also tiny if you have a lot of girls getting ready. But overall, it was a decent stay for the weekend and the roomy kitchen was nice to have.
