Tim and Beverly are excellent hosts. We enjoyed our stay while we visited the St. Louis Arch and St. Louis Zoo. The room is clean, and they have lots of extras like coffee, hot chocolate, an extensive collection of movies, and much more. Great place to stay. I was a little shocked at first that the hosts came to greet me, but I found them to be very lovely people. They put a lot of effort into their place, and it shows in all the little things that you notice during your stay. I would definitely stay again!

Very much appreciated the safe space to lay my head. Easy to find. There are some stairs involved to get to the basement. Host greeted me when the keypad wasn't working - was provided a physical key. Everything was clean and organized.

The hosts were very kind. I asked for a bedside lamp so that I could read myself to sleep, and they provided one quickly. Lots of thoughtful details like chocolates on the pillow, cream for the coffee, first aid kit, tourist information. The decorating theme carries through the whole space.

The apartment was conveniently close to the Metro/bus station and also to a convenience store. It was in a quiet neighborhood. It was attractively decorated and included basic as well as extra amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. It had a microwave, coffee maker with coffee packets, snacks, a mini fridge, many movies to watch, brochures on St Louis, extra blankets and fresh towels provided as needed.

Great and Easy Stay

The property itself was well maintained. I found the decorations to be fun and unique as well! Tim and Beverly were both helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We love getting to know people from all cultures, enjoy learning about their languages and love hearing accents from all over. We also love sharing the music from other countries. Beverly grew up in San Francisco, California and Tim's upbringing was in Northeastern Ohio. Our interests include photography, languages, the performing arts, canoeing, backpacking, sailing and kayaking. We currently live in Shrewsbury, MO on the edge of St. Louis city.

Why they chose this property

The property is a block or two away from the city of St. Louis, MO and a mere stone's throw from the Shrewsbury MetroLink transit station. The MetroLink is very affordable and stops at the most in-demand places, like the Arch, Busch Stadium, Central West End, Civic Center, Convention Center, Lambert International Airport, UMSL and Washington University.

What makes this property unique

Along with our interests, we love all animals, but specifically dogs. If you have a little non-yappie, house-trained, well-behaved dog, we would love to include your pet as one of our guests.

Also, our accommodations are unique with a Key West/ Caribbean theme. We are the unofficial Midwest Consulate of Key West, promoting tourism and commerce with Key West.
