ViequesRentals NET , presents you a Rio mar Apartment Villa is located in a gated complex with 24 hour security inside the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort.

This is NOT the hotel, Hotel room for 2 is [$400-$500] night to be in the hotel. On the other hand u can play golf, have dinner paying for the services.

Our Villa is in the middle of the golf course. With a short 5 min drive to the beach

With beach inside the complex. We have our own access to beach

Ground floor poperty have AC, Cable, Wifi, 2 parking.

The kitchen is fully equipped. The 1st bedroom features a king size bed a sofa, a walk-in closet, private balcony and a full bath. The 2nd bedroom features two queen size beds with a closet and a full bath.

We do not provide a Golf cart, you can rent one at the golf club house if you want.

The Villa is the perfect Caribbean retreat for those looking for a resort location that is still close to all the off-resort activities Puerto Rico has to offer. Villa is located within the Wyndham Río Mar Grand Resort which offers access to golf, tennis, a beach which is a short 5-minute drive away within the resort, 5 restaurants, and community pool club with the beach that is just a short 5 min drive from the villa.

Outside of the resort you have The El Yunque National Rainforest a 5-minute drive away, a never-ending list of great local restaurants, and access to all the great beaches of the northeast coast of Puerto Rico. Sunshine Villa can sleep up to 6 guests in 1 king bed and 2 queen beds.

The villa was quite comfortable and the owners were very helpful and communicative. The decription made it seem like we were closer to a pool and beach than we were, but it was still a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space!

Trip with mom

Went to the island to see some family sights and take my mother out. The staff was super polite and helpful. Only issue was the pool at the beach club was closed on a Saturday with no reason given. At least we got to enjoy the beach though, otherthan that it was perfect!!

Clean, comfortable and spacious villa

The villa was perfect for our family of four, including two young adult sons. Incredibly comfortable beds in both rooms and plenty of room for all to spread out, including a great outside covered patio. Pools and beach about a .8 mile walk across the golf course. Great location to visit El Yunque NP (10 min drive), Old San Juan (about 40 minutes drive) and the Bioluminescent bay in the NE corner of the island. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great visit!

Lovely and relaxing

This condo was super spacious, pretty and clean. It has a lovely little patio as well and its proximity to the golf clubhouse and the main resort, pools and beach were also a plus. It was a v nice community and also close to local restaurants. We visited Luquillo beach which was a short drive away and enjoyed the pools and beach at the resort. Also did a day trip to Old San Juan - not that far of a drive. Owners were super responsive if we needed them. Great condo and would recommend. We had a great time.

No pool though advertised.

This is a very comfortable villa. It was very clean and in a beautiful location. It had no washer and dryer. Though a pool was advertised and there was a map for it on the wall in the villa, we asked numerous times about access to the pool but were denied and were unable to use it. We were told we could only use it if the owner was present.

Hello Omayra, We DO have a pool , we have a club with pool and beach , you called me you cannot find it and I send you maps and location. Pool is right next to beach , (is not at the villa). We DO have a washer and dryer for long stays more than a week as mentioned on the add, you stayed 3 nights. When people stay 2 or 3 nights only, we do not open laundry since we storage many of our items. THanks

Gorgeous and comfortable condo

Our arrival was a little bumpy as our flight came in late, after 10pm. The condo is through the gate for cluster 3 and bear left. We walked around a bit. The gate was locked given our late arrival, but we were able to park and walk to it till morning. The condo is fully equipped and has an amazing breeze in the master bedroom with the window open. You will need a car to get around. The pool is at the cluster beach club. as a renter you are not allowed to park in the beach club, but can park near it and go through the beach side entrance. I wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back. Thank you for sharing this home with us.

I rented this villa for the 1st week with my boyfriend and then he went home and my siblings came for a long weekend to celebrate our parents 65th wedding anniversary! They have been wintering at Rio Mar for the last 41 years, so me and my family have been vacationing here for a long time and have stayed in many different villas at Rio Mar. I would have given this villa 5 stars except for 2 things! It should mention there is 30 stairs you have to walk down in order to reach the villa! Not a good thing for the elderly or someone with a knee issue! It also had a ‘musty’ odor which is probably due to being in the bottom location! Could use some extra pillows for both bedrooms! Excellent location and what a view. Spectacular! We love Rio Mar!

Relaxing few days

Check in was easy and the manager answered our questions quickly. The condo was clean and well equipped. We loved the pool and the beach. There are quite a few stairs so would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues, however there was a back entrance that you could drive around to to load and off load your luggage. You do need a car to get around. House was a bit musty smelling when we arrived but after a few hours of the air-conditioning being on, the smell.goes away. Would definitely love to go back!

Overall we were pleased with the property. For on line listing it is important that you provide detailed information on accessibility to the unit. There were many steps to navigate for those who have difficulty with mobility and have to carry luggage. Blankets and throw needed freshening up. Response from property manager was delayed and not clear. Overall the unit was beautiful and you provided what we needed .We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it!

Great Location

We loved the location of the condo in the property and how close it was to things like the rainforest and other beaches. The location was quiet and peaceful. The condo was clean but needs its air conditioners cleaned as they are dirty and moldy which happens with mini splits. They worked well though. They used lots of air fresheners which we unplugged when we got there as they bother our allergies. Once removing the air fresheners it didn't smell stale or bad. We didn't use anything really in the kitchen. Beds were fine. We enjoyed our stay.

Mold, old and filthy rusty appliances, no hot water. No washing machine, etc. etc. VRBO did not warn us ahead of time that if we were not happy with the location that we had to call while still there!!!

Hello Reba! wao, wao, wao. 1.We DO have hot water of course. (you lie) 2. It is on the add that 2- 3 nights stay do not have laundry. Only long stays DO have laundry. 3. VRBO did not warn us ahead of time about what? lol. About what VRBO should warn you? You book the villa, villa is in the middle of golf course and 5 min drive to the Whyndame beach. You have to read description maybe when you book a house. And NO, we reject to refund you half of stay if you did not leave a review, thats called blackmail. I hope you read the description of the house you book next time. Thanks a lot for visiting Puerto Rico.

I sent rival a detailed demand letter the guard us they don't have access to open the gate. We would need to either wait for another guest to go through the gate or we can try to get around the electric gate and walk down the road to find our villa. We waited 55 minutes to get through the gate. Arriving at the villa, 30 steps to walk down, the security lock is confusing. Finally figured it. Once in the villa, the second bedroom air conditioner would not start. After contacting "Carlos" the host he sent a text suggesting we go on YouTube to figure out the issue. We ended up pulling a night stand to stand on and starting the air conditioner manually which then we couldn't turn off. The 2nd bedroom tv didn't have a remote so it couldn't be watched. We went grocery shopping since there aren't any places you can walk to for meals, and by day 3 all the refrigerated food had gone bad since the refrigerator door has a flap that must close or the frig doesn't keep cold temp. The kitchen oven didn't work either. There wasn't a toaster so I purchased one which Carlos said he would pay me for it but by that time it was not longer about the toaster. There isn't a cloths washer as stated in post. We went to use the pool since it was in the post & was told by security that the owners and host in Cluster 1 and 111 know guest cannot use the pool.Embarassing time! I left a 3 page complaint, no response. I am looking for a reimbursement for lost of time and food money. Post & pics deceiving.

Hello. Thanks a lot. 1. You did not know how to use teleentry. 2. AC worked you just had to press 1 button. 3. Tv worked, just u did not found the control. In fact betty , i think u should rent a hotel instead of an airbnb next time. You texted me and called me 90 times in a 7 day stay. Wao. You need 24/7 attention, you need a hotel. Secured Serenity

We will be back and stay at this wonderful villa. Our 7 night stay was amazing. Super clean and fully stocked with all you need to cook and having laundry is great for a family. A visit the beach is made easy with beach chairs and an umbrella and coolers available to use and the ice machine was perfect for drinks and keeping our beverages cold in the cooler. Loved the outdoor space. The covered balcony with lots of seating for lounging and dining and grilling overlooking the grounds with a little view of the golf course was as impressive by the huge lit tree which gave it a magical appearance. My only critique would be the shower, wish it had hotter water and stronger jets, but we bathed with no problem. Also, to get to the villa from the parking space requires many steps which could be a concern for those with mobility issues and they can be slippery, thread lightly. We did use the balcony entrance to bring in our groceries and luggage when we left. We have stayed in Rio Mar in a different villa and this one is one we look forward to returning. Plenty of space to gather and to spend private quiet time. The entire facility is safe and secure without feeling trapped. The a/c’s were working well and kept us cool when we needed to cool off. We recommend this villa for couples and families. It’s great having a bathroom in each bedroom as well as a half bath in the main living area. Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning soon.

Paradise!!

Absolutely amazing place and extremely spacious. Only feedback I have as someone who has not visited the area before is I booked first floor expecting no stairs and that wasn’t the case. Thankfully the person who couldn’t do stairs was unable to join us, so the rest of us were fine with the stairs. Very grateful for the location and everything available at the condo!
