About this property

The Cook House At Castlepoint Beach - Group Accommodation -

The Cook House is situated on it's own section, and is fully self-contained providing accommodation for up to 12 people. Enjoy the open plan living and dining areas, as well as a sun porch. The lounge has comfortable furnishings and a cozy fire to cuddle up next to, while there is also a television with Freeview and a DVD player. The Cook House has a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, pots, pans, toaster, electric jug, electric frying pan, plates, cutlery, glasses and tea towels. There is also a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining Kiwi style! You have your own private bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet, and there is a washing machine for you to use during your stay. No Dogs allowed.

Bedrooms
Cook House has four bedrooms, two rooms have queen sized beds, and two other rooms have sets of bunks (king single and single). The beds have fitted mattress protectors, pillow and pillow case. Fitted bottom sheets available if required. You are welcome to bring your own bedding or you can hire them from us here at the Holiday Park.

Castlepoint family weekend

We had a lovely weekend in Castlepoint. We did the walks to the lighthouse and Castle Rock. Had a really good dinner at the hotel too. The house is perfect for a group but you do have to bring everything with you as it is difficult to get extra provisions once there. The store nearby is understandably pricey. There wasnt much in the house (no tea, coffee or milk to get you started - only some salt). Also only some hand soap in the bathroom but none for kitchen or shower. No complimentary toiletries. If you pay extra for linen, you still need to make up beds on arrival. Very clean and spacious though. Great location too.

What a great place to celebrate the Birthdays of 6 J’s. Lots of space, great fire and sand dunes

Perfect batch!

Lovely batch big enough for all of us. Perfect location as it’s just a quick walk to the beach. Check in and communication was easy and everyone where very kind to us. We will definitely be coming back in the future!
