The long slate floor entry is a sign of things to come... as exciting living spaces, gourmet Kitchen, lavish Formal Dining Room, large Media Room and Dual Master Suites are only the beginning. High Beam Ceilings and warm solid wood flooring add to the visual stimuli, with tasteful art pieces, musical instruments and comfortable furnishings completing the space. Summit Lodge almost seems to transport you to a world-class Hollywood recording studio, or to your favorite mountain destination. That is, until you step outside...

Bask in some California Sun! Multiple seating and "hang" areas are set strategically throughout the well manicured gardens. No doubt about it though, the centerpiece of this exquisite property is the beautiful Swimming Pool, complete with built in Hot Tub. A cascading water feature adds a nice touch to help de-stress, unwind and refresh. Lounge about at your discretion, we insist.

Whether you are frequent guests or new to the Montecito/Santa Barbara area, we believe this location is very tough to beat. Located near Coast Village Road, in the heart of Montecito's Lower Village, we welcome you to live well. We loved the house! It was amazing in almost every way.. the dryer didn’t work, and the top dishwasher drawer didn’t work. But all good! The house was perfect as well as the outdoor area.. we would definitely rent it again. The location was amazing! I’m sure they will get the issues that we have fixed!

Family Oasis

The Summit Lodge was the perfect place for our family of six to relax during the days leading up to our daughter’s wedding and afterwards. It has a rustic yet modern atmosphere and the spaciousness and amenities were perfect. I would highly recommend this property!

Slice of paradise

This property boasts it all. The pictures are a great reflection of its beauty. The rooms are big and spacious, high ceilings with lots of fun windows. Several outdoor areas for lounging around the fire pit, sun bathing by the pool, or reading a novel under the mature trees. Beds are super comfy. Bathrooms are modern and updated. I loved the fun showers! Jacuzzi and pool were phenomenal. Absolutely recommend!

Positives:- Beautiful house, well equipped- Great location- Great pool- Very Clean Negatives:- NO A/C — should have been more explicitly stated in the listing. The house was incredibly stuffy and muggy even with all the fans running and windows and skylights open. That's a big drawback- Plumbing was not great and second bathroom shower had clogged drain rending it fairly unusable- Broken dryer in the laundry room left clothing damp and was unusable because of loud noise and vibration- House Alarm system started beeping in the middle of the night and woke up the whole house

Beautiful, unique home right in Montecito

Our family (including a 4yr old and 2yr old) loved our stay at the Summit Lodge! The pool area is beautiful, and there's a wonderful outdoor seating area for breakfasts & dinners outside. The furnishings in the home truly are luxurious and of great quality. Remember to bring your K cups for the coffee machine! Master bedroom has a walk-in closet area (around a corner, but without a door separating it from the rest of the room) that was perfect for setting up a pack and play. For those unfamiliar with Montecito, there aren't sidewalks in this area, so even though the house is easily walkable to town, it can be a little more challenging to keep very small kids corralled on the side of the road, and you might plan on driving. Perfect stay, thank you!!

Perfect getaway!

The house is a complete dream and honestly better than the pictures. It is clearly built and designed with the renter’s experience in mind, with so many communal spaces to enjoy with your guests. The location cannot be beat, as everything we had planned for our stay was no more than a ten minute drive away. It was the perfect bachelorette getaway weekend, and I will absolutely come back for more stays!

I stayed here with a group of friends for labor day weekend. Although the property was beautiful, we were dismayed when we walked in and a horrible smell permeated the house. We first assumed it was trash, but the source was later identified as a dead, rotting rat in an air duct. In addition, there was no hot water in any of the showers for the entire length of our stay. We contacted the property managers during our stay as soon as we noticed both issues. While they were able to have the deceased rodent removed mid-weekend, the water heater was not fixed while we were there. To make matters worse, they charged me for the full stay — over 7k — prior to our check in. After the weekend, I asked that the manager make this right by providing some sort of partial reimbursement. That was more than two weeks ago, and I still have not been provided with any money back.
