Had both Pros and Cons
Cabin had been renovated, kitchen was extremely spacious, beds were large, bathrooms spacious. Sits next to a creek and distance to Gatlinburg is not bad, about 5 miles. This place can accommadate a large group. Play ground was a hit with my kid. Its pet friendly.
Renovations however were not done 100% correctly. Flooring is uneven and was popping up in places, plumbing in one the guest baths was not vented correctly so it was backing up in the sink when the toilet was flushed, sink stoppers were not installed correctly. Luckily we did not need to use the one bath this was happening in. I just think the owner did not get the best handyman for the job when he hired out for the renovation. Also there was damage from previous renters to the trim, you would hope this would be fixed before you rent a place or a discount offered on issue gone wrong which was not given to us.
The views are not great, I rented it to be next to the creek but found after the deposit it was next to an RV park and a Thrift store for homeless animals. Had I known this I would have made a different choice. I decided to make the best of it because the owner was nice and allowed my dog. Again there were alot of nice things, it was not terrible by any means, but didn't leave me with a feeling I wanted to come back.

Hi Kristin, the right vacation home is important, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We're glad you found the cabin to be spacious and the playground and creek were to your liking
- No home is perfect, but we constantly improve and repair the cabin as soon as anything is brought to our attention. The cabin had a renovation in 2019 including all interior walls, flooring, kitchen, and baths. Yet, all homes used for vacations are going to have minor cosmetic wear issues. The home interior is real wood, so we can't simply touch up nicks or scratches caused by suitcases, etc.
- The campground next door (as photos of the property show) is only visible as you first turn in far up the driveway and does not interfere with the home or creek view. The antique/thrift store next door is an “old country store” which is a country lot away with perhaps five customers stopping in per day. Previous guests have said they have found some great treasures there
- We discussed the bathroom issue while you were there, and you said you preferred not to have anyone in to repair it during your stay, as there were multiple other bathrooms for your party to use. We are addressing this issue
- We were never aware of any discussion on credit or other complaints regarding trim or floors. We are always happy to address concerns guests bring to our attention
We hope you enjoyed your trip overall. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

other than the above issues it was a nice vacation with new friends.

Close but no cigar!
was ok. had ants in the kitchen area. small building sink would not drain. fridge leaked water on floor. floor bulged up in main living area. one bathroom sink burped water when flushing the toilet. entrance from highway was hard to find. would of liked the area around fire pit to be mowed. so, it was ok but for the price would of not expected the above situations. the wood interior was very nice. great look.
Our family had an amazing time at this property. The home was clean and inviting. Instructions were clear, and the owners communicated well. The location was a good balance of seclusion, although being close to everything. There was plenty of room for all 3 of our families. We would all highly recommend this property if you are considering visiting Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area in the future!
Wonderful property, secluded, safe, quiet neighborhood. Beautiful scenery with creek and large firepit. Outdoor seating & indoor spaciousness. Great place for family to meet together in the Smokey Mountains! Very nice!
AWESOME CABIN FOR FAMILY/FRIENDS-BETTER THAN THE PICS!
Our family had a great time staying at this cabin. There is so much to do and the atmosphere outside is absolutely perfect.
We did a lot of relaxing on the swing by the creek & we enjoyed the fire pit (they do have chairs around it now). The hot tub was very nice & there are patio cushions for the bench seat by the hot tub now.. The house itself was immaculate inside & was decorated like a cabin should be. The beds were very comfortable & the linens/towels were nice too. This cabin had everything we needed to make our stay the best possible. The owner was very responsive & helpful with our questions. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for your hospitality! : )
The pictures doesn’t do this cabin justice. It’s way prettier than expected. Loved being able to have the yard and fire pit and playground for the kids. It was perfect! Thanks for the great memories! Would highly recommend.

Overall, ok!
I initially wanted to take my dog so I chose a pet friendly property. I didn’t realize that that meant there would be dog hair everywhere! Most had to wash the beds before sleep; the couches had to be vacuumed as well. It was a cool weekend, the heat wouldn’t wouldn’t work in the 5th bedroom, but it’s may so that was understandable. The property is nice overall, just work on the dog hair.
The cabin was very clean & beautiful. I didn’t realize the 5th bedroom wasn’t under the same roof. The 5th bedroom, bathroom and game room is 40 yards away from the main cabin. We normally would use the pool table but it was so cold and there wasn’t heat for the 5th bedroom. We had to go to Lowe’s and spend $100,00 for a space heater because it was cold at night. I contacted the owner to ask about the heat but never got a response. The fire pit, swing set and hot tub was a huge hit with the family. I would book this cabin again if I were coming when it doesn’t get cold at night.
The house was extremely clean and up to date. However, the 5th bedroom and 4th bathroom are in another building not attached to the main house. We didn’t realize that. The heat and tv we never could get to work out there and notified the property manager with not much help. The master bedroom’s mattress could only sleep one because it was broke and slanted down and the master bedroom’s heat also was not very good. We let the property manager know about the mattress and his response was just “thanks for letting me know.” It was always much colder in that room. The hot tub was a big hit.
Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The property was very clean, they playground made a nice addition, and the sound of the river following was very soothing. Overall we had a great experience. Please make sure to take your own toilet paper and trash bags. Other than that, 10/10 recommend.
With a wind storm the first night and power going out, the snow storm the second night and power going out again, we were still in a great cabin and enjoyed every moment. The nine person hot tub was amazing!! Here are my suggestions for those who stay:
Bring games and things to do if the weather causes issues with the internet or power because the TVs work off the internet so if the power is on, there is a chance the TVs won’t work. Bring flash lights, there are none there. We had a few and our phones. Bring salt for the steps and porch, if you stay in the winter. Bring extra supplies for cleaning and paper products. They do supply a least a few days so you don’t have to have when you arrive. Lastly, bring a potato masher if mashed potatoes is on the menu and a whisk for any kind of baking or cooking. Our stay was great and would stay again.
Spacious and clean! Close to Rocky Top Sports Complex!
Beautiful property and was the perfect location for going back and forth to Rocky Top Sports Complex! Only complaint was that the master bedroom was colder than the rest of the house and the mattress was a little hard. Other than that, our stay was very nice! Would stay here again!
Can’t say enough about this place. Location was perfect, cabin had just been redone, game room with living quarters for extra space. Would definitely stay again.
This 5 bedroom home is on a nice property about 10 minutes outside Gatlinburg. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and appliances and a MASSIVE hot tub that was awesome. Lack of Cable TV was disappointing in living room. Overall positive experience.

Great time, beautiful cabin
Our friends and I had a couples retreat and we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful with the creek, waterfall and 10 person spa. We also were able to check in early and get our weekend started. Thanks for the wonderful place to stay!

The house was nice, a bit different that what we expected. The pictures and description are a bit misleading. One of the bedrooms (mother in law suite) is in a separate building away from the main house. Before booking, I asked a d was told it was not. In the main house 2 of the bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom, 1 uses the hall bath and the master has it's own bath. The kids loved the play area and the hot tub. Overall it's was a nice place, comfortable beds, not too far out from Gatlinburg or to Cosby TN.

A nice way to unwind
This cabin was located on a nice size lot equipped with a huge yard and Mother in law cabin complete with gameroom and video games. Our family had fun with the expansive property and the wonderful 9 person hot tub. Amenities were nice had a few problems with chairs and pool cues that were broken or in bad repair. Generally, I couldn't have had a better time. This place is well kept for the most part and on site caretaker Nicholas was always ready to solve minor issues we had. A great place for family fun and relaxation. We will be back.
My family rented this property Father’s Day weekend and had the BEST time! The cabin is beautiful and spacious. We cooked all of our meals in the cabin and it had every pot and utensil needed, and plenty of space in the kitchen where no one was in the way. The creek outside was beautiful, and the fire pit was perfect for s’mores. The cabin is located right next door to a tiny thrift store(that benefits animals!) so we walked right over and found a few treasures! It’s. We spent a day downtown doing some shopping and visiting the aquarium(a must do) and it was less than a 30 minute drive away. We had so much fun and really enjoyed this cabin rental. Beautiful property, spacious cabin, and the amenities were wonderful. My only suggestion is to bring your own pillows if you don’t want anything warm and fuzzy on your face. Everything else was perfect!
