The space
Recently upgraded and fully furnished throughout, this private one bedroom home includes a fully appointed kitchen with all appliances including stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with beautiful new crisp linens, pillows and bed coverings. Spacious living room has an extra sleeping space with a comfy sleeper sofa. Smart HDTV with free high-speed WiFi connection, on-street parking and keyless access!

Weekend in Portsmouth

Great location in Portsmouth. The apartment was very clean and has all the items you would need. All the amenities like bedding, towels, etc were all top notch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

The check-in process was easy and seamless. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The apartment appears just as it does in the photos. Clean, lots of light, well situated, in walking to attractions. Parking was no problem at all. I was comfortable and felt very safe during my stay. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.

Wonderful VRBO , very clean and within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops . The owner was very responsive, I asked a million questions and each was answered promptly .I meant to take a peek at the mattress to see what kind it was. It was incredibly comfortable.Only wish list would be hooks in bathroom and room darkening blinds on the bedroom window.Great Experience and would highly recommend !!

Great location and walking distance to downtown

Portsmouth get away

This was a very nice place to stay.... good neighborhood.... convenient to restaurants and shops. Parking was very limited and unfortunately the street out front was under construction all week that started at 7:00 in the morning.

Second time staying at this property. It is a 5 star property. My grandkids think it’s my house. Love the location and the setup. Inside is cozy and comfortable. Need a new cleaning person. No heart in it.

Great location for New England trip

Overall this place was great to stay at. It was a central to downtown Portsmouth. We chose to walk/drive downtown and easily found parking. The biggest drawback to our trip was the street construction taking place right outside of the building. Also, there a parking spot designate for this rental behind the building that is not listed in the host description. We used this spot and had no issues during our stay. Would recommend this place for travelers!

Great location for walking in Portsmouth! Fun stores & great restaurants nearby. Unfortunately the door lock failed 1st day of trip, hard to connect with host for alternative keys. Towels were brand new, still had labels indicating not washed. Sticky substance on kitchen floor & counter on arrival.

Apt is in great location. As a single woman I felt very comfortable walking home from downtown by myself. Very clean. Bed comfortable. A/c terrible. It’s a stand alone unit and is very noisy. I ended up not using it at night. Luckily the weather was cool in the evening so using the fan was ok, but my sleep was disrupted, this is why I gave it a 3-star rating.The manager was prompt to respond, I asked for a minimal refund on Tuesday. It’s Sunday and it’s still ‘under review’.

Great location!

The unit was very clean and we felt right at home. It’s also within walking distance to everything. One bit a difficulty we had was during the check-in. If I hadn’t read the reviews, I wouldn’t have known that there is a parking spot behind the building. This is helpful as there’s a bunch on construction all around. With that we tried to enter through the back door and there was miscommunication on the correct unit and unit entry code. It’s important to know that you need to enter through the front of the building and navigate through the construction to get in the first time.

Grwat location

The place was clean and the interior newly remodeled. There were four drawbacks. 1. The unit was not close to the water, the pictures showed that. 2. Parking is not convient. 3. There was street construction going on so getting in the front door was not the easiest. 4. The upstairs neighbor could easily be heard walking around and got up around 5 AM On the plus side: Only a couple of blocks to downtown and the interior is like nes.

Here are the good things about this property: - Recently remodeled - Modern decorations and furnishings - Bedroom is away from street and noise - Located on the West End with easy access to roads in and out of town - Responds to messages Some of the not so good things accounting for the overall rating: - Only one set of towels and not corrected after request - Blind in bedroom broken and so room dark - No living room lamps or floor lamps in bedroom and ceiling lamps only in kitchen - Never did actually have a name for the person(s) renting the property. - Parking nearby is a pain - Back door not keyed like front door - Broken cabinet door in kitchen

Nice place, great location, a bit hard to reach manager

The place is as listed, lovely, next to a park, five or so blocks from the main downtown area. I had some problems with the electronic lock and was unable to lock it and reaching the manager was...difficult. As a result, the front door had to be left unlocked, which was weird. Then there is this weird thing about emptying the trash or getting fined. I practice I got a message for a complicated process to take out the garbage, take the bins to the street and return them...all unreasonable/unacceptable for such an expensive stay. But my overall experience was quite good.

The pictures of this apartment are not accurate. There is no central AC and no way to hold widows op

The pictures of this @one bedroom apartment are not accurate in in fully disclosing how minimal and sparse this apartment s features are.. There is NO central AC .. the only AC is a window unit in master bedroom .. the AC in the window is on the ground floor with a parking lot outside the widow and big gappinghss on either side of window AC unit for and or raccoons/ strangers to crawl Into apartment .. I did not feel safe .. There is only a tiny standing fan to cool main kitchen and living room combined areas. I had to hold up living room windows with cutting boards - for ventilation. This property was NOT at ALL as plushy as it was described to be on the VRBO website .

Very well appointed , executive condo, absolutely perfect for our stay . Looks nicer and more spacious in person. Very quiet street at night , safe for walking and easy parking across the street. More economical then the pricey hotels in the area and easy walk to everything Portsmouth has to offer. I will def book again in future
