Beach View

Lovely view from the spacious apartment. Mirjana was very attentive and provided some nice welcome items in the refrigerator. It’s a bit of a walk into Old Town Split but along the water so not too bad.

Not as it seems in the pictures AT ALL

I had a reservation to stay at this apartment this past weekend. When we arrived, we were very surprised to see the reality vs. the photos. I was told the pictures were taken 2 years ago. There are now buildings in front of the deck that block some of the ocean view. This place is old and falling apart. The pillows were old, the sponges were disgusting. The person who let us in was a friend of the owner and she was argumentative and a little aggressive when I mentioned that the place didn’t look like the pictures. We didn’t stay there at all and lost $1200. Naturally, no response from the owner. DONT stay here is you like a nice place. It is spacious however. I wish I could submit the photos we took of the REAL thing

WONDERFUL

Property was immaculate and the extra large balcony was a great benefit and you could see the lit waterfront and sky at night. The hosts bent over backwards to make our stay as comfortable as possible!

Smelled strongly of cigarettes

As soon as we walked into this place, the smell of cigarettes was unmistakable. The balcony area had an astray full of cigarettes, and the kitchen counter also had the biggest astray I've ever seen. My son has asthma, and he immeidately started coughing and reacting to the strong smell. We couldn't stay there. I called the owner, and she simply said "Sorry, but why don't you try opening the windows? Surely the smell will go away." Not sure what part of my son having asthma she didn't get, but that environment was not suitable for his condition and thus a health risk. Staying there for 4 nights was not an option for us at that point, so we asked if we could get a refund. She refused. We contacted Vrbo via chat and they kept telling us to call the US number. We were on the phone with them twice, each over 20 minutes, and our phone call time was used up (my husband and I had only 30 minutes each from a sim card). So we spent 1400 dollars and didn't even stay there for 15 minutes. Once we're back to the US, I'm going to contact Vrbo and get our money back. The property listing clearly stated "No smoking" - but this was not the case. And it caused a significant change in our travel plan. Don't book this place unless you're a chainsmoker. This place is DISGUSTING!!!

Brilliant

Minja Was a fabulous host We had one of the best holiday The apartment is very well kept with a beautiful view of the beach....just 10 minutes walking distance. A Uber to the town is about £3 to £4. I would definitely recommend and will myself come back again. Thank you for a great experience and holiday in Croatia. Peggy
