Me and a friend came down to NOLA for Mardi Gras and to go to a Pelicans game and it was so much fun! We had our own rooms and bathrooms since there was only two of us. It's so nice finding a place that isn't a basement suite or just a room. Very happy with the stay and the place. The host was super easy to get ahold of as well, even checked on us when there was a rain storm with strong winds! Would definitely recommend!

I love everything about this place, Micheal was a very kind and generous great communicator and a lot of space for the 5 of us. I would not stay there again because it is in the hood which is a little scary and I feel like the bathroom in the master bed could have been bigger I cant never took a proper shower while I was over there the bathroom is small. Another I would suggest having a TV in each room that will make it more convenient for everyone. Other than that great nice place very clean & quiet with amenities I will advise others to stay there.

Outstanding

Michael is a great host. Always helpful and respectful of our privacy. Nevertheless immediately available when you need him. The house is spotless.It felt like we have been the first people renting it. Couldn't be cleaner. Everything is modern and pretty high tech equipment. The most powerful and silent central AC I have experienced. Parking directly in front of the house big enough for a large SUV, more parking on the street if needed. It is less then 10 minutes by car to the French Quarter. The neighborhood is very quiet day and night. We felt safe despite the area being far away from upscale. The roads are in bad condition but being worked on but this is a general problem in NOLA. Some of the houses in the area still show damages from hurricane Ida. Overall, I would anytime get back to this place and recommend it to anyone (maybe except people needing a wheelchair, 2 steps to the house). Thanks Michael for everything. Big thumbs up!

Great stay

The house was super clean ! Looked exactly like the pictures ! All Ubers to the French quarter were between 10-15 dollars . Will be back again to visit Nola soon !

Clean and spacious

We enjoyed our stay at Zen Oasis. There was lots of space for everyone, party of 5. The kitchen was cute and had everything that we needed. There are condiments in the fridge and and a nice selection of spices. The beds were amazing. We would stay here again if we come to Nola again.

Brilliant!

A fantastic place to stay, extremely clean, property had everything we required. We were a family of 4 adults and we had more than enough space. Michael’s communication was very prompt and he had lots of suggestions regarding places to eat and visit. Location was good too, an Uber to Bourbon Street was about 10 dollars. I would definitely stay here again!

Zen Spot

We'd driven in to NO from several states to bury our mother so this visit was more somber than usual. N.O. was characteristically hot and humid, but the house provided a calm, comfortable spot where we could relax in the afternoons and "chill" together in the evenings. In the mornings we sat on the front porch and drank coffee while the neighbors (humans and chickens) went about their daily business. There were occasional disputes among the resident fowl, but overall the street was very quiet. The house was exceptionally clean, and we were pleased to find that coffee, tea, sugar, and basic condiments were provided. For the first couple of days I was using the bathroom off the hallway and I was disappointed that the water for my showers was warm but never really got hot. I reported this to Michael, who seemed unaware of the problem but willing to look into it. However, my brother figured out that instead of turning the faucet all the way left toward the "Hot" setting, if we positioned the faucet just short of "Hot", we could indeed have hot showers in that bathroom. Problem solved! I must admit we had some initial safety concerns about this area, but after settling in we found it to be similar to other neighborhoods in the city where residents and tourists alike need to be aware of their surroundings and cautious in their behavior in certain situations. Overall we were very satisfied with this rental house. It was roomy, comfortable, clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. It provided a welcome "zen" refuge during a difficult time for my family.

Final Four Visit

The property was terrific. Owners did a great job on the renovations and the place is very spacious. The neighborhood was a little rougher around the edges than expected, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great, except the Roosters!

Excellent place. Very clean and big. Enough space for everyone. Only problem was there’s a couple of roosters and chickens that are noisy, but nothing that we couldn’t handle.

Everything was great. The house was a little far out but Using the nearby blue bike station near st. Roch park you can get around in a quick, fun, and cheap way. There is no better way to tour the town than on a bike.

Excellent place

This is an amazing place. It is close to everything that you will want to see. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood for sleeping and rest. The place was perfect for our family. Excellent communication with Michael and everything was easy to access. I would highly recommend if you are visiting New Orleans. I will visit here again anytime I come back this way. Lovely property, ideal proximity to Bourbon St

I stayed at Michael's property with some friends for a birthday trip. The popular tourist areas in NOLA were only a 7-10 minute drive away. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet at night. There were plenty of amenities available within the house & we loved the decor! The check-in process was easy and Michael was quick to respond to my messages before & during the trip. We would stay here again.

Super cute house!

We picked this place because it was close to my brother in laws house and had the bedrooms and bathrooms needed for our group. The pictures shown on the listing were exactly the same as when we arrived. The owner left enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish tabs, dish soap and other odds and ends that we didn’t need to run to the store to get anything right away. The house is newly renovated and overall a great job on the house. Everything was clean and updated. My kids enjoyed the swing in the back yard and there is a nice patio to sit and relax. The only negative is that you have to walk through the master bedroom/bathroom to get to the outdoor space, which was not a problem for us but just as a note. We also enjoyed the neighborhood free range chickens and roosters walking around! The bedrooms were big enough and all the beds are similar in size and were comfy. The master bedroom and bath were very large and the bath has a full sized washer and dryer. The house was spacious that we never felt cramped and could all sit on the couch or table and see the large TV. The location is great- just a short drive to the French Quarter (10-15 min) for a beignet, drink or to go to the aquarium, shopping or Jackson square. There is a Robert’s market just 5 min away and a nice Rouses’ (grocery chain) and CVS less than 10 minutes. Rouses’ is just next to Lake pontchartrain if you’d like to walk along the lake. The location is just off I-10 and makes it easy to get all over the place. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and will book for our next trip to NOLA!
