Alpenglow Lakeside Lodge is the perfect place to create that special vacation experience. The Adirondack-style 8 bedroom home is nestled on a private lot on the shores of Lower Saranac Lake. This is the ideal spot whether you are looking for a restful place to rejuvenate or a destination where you can create meaningful memories daily. Your entire family, or group of friends, no matter their ages, can enjoy the grassy yard, the sandy beach, and magnificent views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Wake up to the tranquil sound of the lake gently washing up on shore, or watch the sun set daily over the lake from a dockside chair, the boathouse deck, an Adirondack chair on the lawn, the elevated deck that runs the entire length of the house, or even the kitchen window!
The house and grounds: Ideal home for large and extended families, this home features three separate levels of living space and comfortably accommodates 16 people – have the whole family in one house. The expansive lawn overlooking the lakefront is perfect for outside dining, campfires, badminton, croquet, or just plain relaxing. This Lodge is ideal for a reunion or group gathering. The gourmet kitchen is large enough for the family cooking and dining that makes a vacation together even more memorable.
The beach and dock: The house features a 225 foot private sandy beach, with a very gradual decline in depth that makes it ideal for young children. The house comes with canoes and kayaks. You can also bring along your own boat (the launch is just up the road and there is plenty of room to park a trailer) or rent from the nearby marina and tie up to a private dock after a day of fishing, tubing, or water skiing on the 6-mile long lake. Clean up after a fun day on the lake in the outdoor shower.

About the host
Hosted by Adirondack Premier Properties (AKDPP)

Our family gets together for a vacation every summer - all 16 of us. We have
historically rented a beach house given our love of the water and the growing number of children in our family. We would search diligently for a house that was large enough to have us all under one roof—but with some space for a bit of privacy and quiet -- and
that wasn’t easy. Once there we would gather our shovels and buckets, towels and
chairs and lug them down to the beach. Given the heat of the sun in the summer
months we would lather up to keep from burning, make the hike to the beach and by
midday go back to the house for a lunch break and some shade.
One summer we rented this house on Lower Saranac Lake and had the best summer
experience of our lives. A private beach for swimming, a lake for boating, fishing, and
water skiing, and some grass and shade a few steps away. No multiple trips lugging all
the gear required for a day at the beach. Plenty of sunshine, but no blazing sun. A lawn
with chairs in place and plenty of shade. We put the boat in the water and docked it at
the boat house. After a day of water fun and dinner, some of the adults would grab
champagne for a sunset cruise on the lake, while others watched the children enjoy the
sunset from their kayaks, canoes and paddleboards.
The beauty of the lake setting, the grandeur of the house, the pleasure of us all being
under one roof, and the convenience of having all of our entertainment on the lakefront
made our vacation here an experience to remember. We had everything we needed
right where we were.
We love sharing the house with others and hope you will enjoy your time at Alpenglow.
