This is one of the best group homes you can book! Tons of rooms/space. But not one of those group homes that feels claustrophobic. Outdoor area was beautiful. Host was extremely responsive. Will absolutely stay here again. Easy 1 mile walk to downtown. 10 out of 10 experience.

This house was like others say very strange as far as house design. It also had:1) dirty sheets in at least one of the beds2) no dishwasher soap/hand soap/sponge for dishes3) no garbage bags4) toiletries were scant 5) the grill was absolutely disgusting6) the hot tub is on a back yard that is right next to a busy road, has no privacy7) the yard needs maintenance 8) the stairs are slippery and steep. I wouldn’t recommend this for families with children or any sort of mobility issuesOn the other hand,9) the game room was nice and new

esther, this house was originally built in 1930, since then it has gone through numerous updates and renovations resulting in what other guests has expressed as "large, spacious, fun secret rooms.... etc" families has viewed this as fun & interesting. we always supply hand soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags and sponges for the dual sinks. extra soap and supplies including trash bags are stored under the sink. if esther would have contacted me i could have helped her with any needs or locate anything she might have needed. we have a large cedar shrub blocking the view for good privacy right next to the tub and also have two large privacy curtains if needed for guests.

The perfect weekend getaway

We had a group of 10 women for a bachelorette party, and the property exceeded our expectations. This cozy, Adirondack aesthetic was perfect for relaxing and entertaining all weekend long. We wish we could have extended our stay to enjoy every aspect of the property as one weekend was just not enough time. We hope to be back again!

Excellent! Perfect for our family reunion - large spaces to spread out on first floor and awesome 3rd floor game room/bar for all ages. And for once, we all got to eat at the same table! Lake Placid town is a quick drive and grocery stores/shopping right near by. Will definitely be back.

Excellent stay at a rambling home

Stayed here with 3 related families, so much room to spread out and give both kids and adults their space. Great bunk room for the kids. Lots of space for eating at the table. Well stocked home with everything needed to stay there. Beds seemed comfortable. Fun games in the game room for the kids. Hot tub and outdoor space was great. Even though the house is on the main road, was quiet for sleeping.
