This totally renovated house across the street from the beach in Westbrooks West Beach community. This large, 2500 square foot property, located down the beach from Water’s Edge Resort, features 3 story living, all custom decorated, by RLF Home, with the finest new amenities and furnishings.The renovation, complete with new roof, hurricane windows, trek decking, wood and marble floors, all new bathrooms, lighting, kitchen appliances, heating and cooling systems. Enter the first floor living room with 2 club cars, leather loveseat and gas fireplace ,dining room with large table seating for 8, breakfast bar seating for 2, brand new kitchen and appliances, opening up to a large family room with comfy sofa, loveseat and oversized chair opening to large outside trek deck.There is also a lovely powder room as well.The second floor consists of 2 bedrooms, one with twin trundle beds sleeping 4, the other an elegant queen wicker sleigh bed and beautiful bathroom with tub/shower and washer dryer. Outside the bathroom is a bright enclave with desk/stool and mirror perfect for doing online work or simply putting on your makeup. The piece de resistance is the third floor master suite featuring a landing with twin size daybed, an entry room with a chair and a half pull out twin sleeper, and slider to an outdoor ,double walk down deck overlooking Long Island Sound outfitted with lounger and chairs offering sun all day. The elegant bathroom features large walk in shower with teak bench and farmhouse lighting over elegant vanity and heat lamp. Enter the huge master bedroom with king size 4 poster bed, elegant velvet settee, armoire with tv and marble top bedside table. Huge closets with bathrobes and two outside decks make it a perfect space to overlook the Long Island Sound or interior marsh. Perfect space, for a group to spread out and not be on top of each other and enjoy the beach across the street or from the many outdoor areas. The house has 3 bedrooms privacy for 6 adults. One of the second floor bedrooms has twin beds with pull out trundles perfect as a kids room or a couple with 2 kids. Not recommended for 8 adults looking for privacy.The house is half of a 5000 sq ft duplex with full time occupants on the other side. This truly is a must see custom renovation villa. Walk down to center of town for coffee at Julie’s Cup O’Joes, breakfast at Cristy’s or Turtle Cafe and dinner at Cafe Routier. Westbrook is truly a special place for special people. Come and be amazed. Sorry no pets.

We just spent the weekend at this beautiful home and wish we could have stayed longer. As great as the listing photos are, the property itself is even better. The views from the various balconies are fantastic, and I should point out that the host acted upon the suggestion from a previous guest to put some comfortable outdoor furniture on the balconies/decks to enjoy the views. All of us were blown away when entering the home at how nice and spacious it was. We were in town for a September wedding at the nearby Waters Edge resort and the per night pricing for this home was comparable to the two rooms I was going to have to get for our family at the resort, but the hotel rooms would have had parking lot views. Instead we rented this home and had ample room (and more) to enjoy our weekend. There is a room with two twin beds (both with trundles) that would be great for a large family or two families with kids to have a “sleepover.” Our kids are older but when little they would have loved sharing that room with their cousins. The home was immaculately clean and had all that we needed. The beach is right across the way, and there’s a great coffee shop (Julie’s) and diner (Christy’s) about a 10 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property

This was a great house, large but cozy, everything was clean and up to date. Owners were local and were incredibly friendly, checked on us and couldn't be more welcoming. Walking distance from a couple of small beaches, and just a short drive to some of CTs larger beaches. Plenty of restaurants and nice family spots nearby as well. We were there for my mom's 75th birthday and this home helped to make the whole event unforgettable.

Our third stay at the house was just as awesome as the first two! The house itself and location to the beach are ideal for our family vacations! Wonderful Vacation!

Our stay at the villa was perfect from beginning to end. The property is beautiful, spacious, clean and the views are spectacular. Westbrook Paradise

I can't say enough about this rental. Beautifully decorated, immaculate home has everything you need. Location is great with only a short walk to the beach. Robin is extremely attentive and wonderful to deal with should you have any questions. We've stayed here twice and will definitely be back. Five star property in every respect!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed the beautiful spacious home for a family vacation. The stairs were tucked away so our toddlers ( there were 3 2 yrs and younger) couldn’t get to them easily while on the main floor. The views were spectacular from the many balconies. Great time had by all.

Ladies Retreat

Very clean, great set up for kids (ages 3-11), beach is two minute walk. Gas grill and first floor deck is a positive, ate outside 90% of the time.

Another amazing stay!

This was our second time staying at the house and it was just as wonderful as the first! The house impressed us all over again! Our family also enjoyed the quick access to the beach, especially with younger ones in tow! During different points of our stay, someone could be heard saying "when we come back here next time..." Clearly we enjoyed our time at the house! Thank you, Robin!

Our family is from Farminton Ct where we lived and raised our family.We started coming to Westbrook in 1993 because my husband always enjoyed the summer coming down when he was a child.We are in the decorating business and redoing this beautiful property was right up our alley.We enjoy meeting our guests and adding to our extended family.

Why they chose this property

We have lived in this “sleepy”wonderful town since 1993 and when our neighbors house across the street went on the market in 2019,
we purchased it ,took it down to the studs and spent a year completely renovating and decorating Villa Je t’aime.

What makes this property unique

Our beautiful 5000 sq ft duplex is unlike anything in the area.Being across the street from 2 beaches,we have multiple upper decks which allow a gorgeous view out over Long Island to enjoy the rest of your night.A private deck off of the family room allows for wonderful outdoor dining and evening conversations.
