Luxury Villa with private pool, amazing ocean views, 100m to sandy beach, Wi Fi

A large villa on an enclosed, gated, private estate with private access to a secluded beach. The house has a private pool, a large fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room with terrace with amazing views to the Atlantic (80m away) and Cies islands. The terrace has an electrically-operated awning. There is a second lounge which can double as 5th bedroom, with high quality double bed/sofa and TV opening to small terrace with bbq and the pool. There is a full sized tabletennis table.The rest of the villa consists of 4 double bedrooms (2 with double beds, two with twin beds), 4 bathrooms of which two are en-suite and all of which have shower/toilet, 3 have bidets. There is a laundry with washing machine and a double garage with a full sized table tennis table. The house is equipped throughout with broadband Wi Fi internet access. Furniture and fittings are of high quality and mostly new in 2008. Towels, bed linen and parasols are provided. Our neighbour Fatima will welcome you and be available.


How to get there: The cheapest way to the villa is to fly to Santiago de Compostela (1hr from the house) or Oporto (1.5hrs from the house) (served by both Ryanair and Easyjet) and then hire a car. Alternatively you can fly to the same airports with several other airlines including Iberia and TAP. Best to ignore Vigo airport because you will almost certainly have to change flights at a Spanish airport and the pain is not worth the gain.
Driving is not impossible if you wanted to make a holiday of the journey too, it is around 800km and 8 hours in the saddle from San Sebastian) From the UK you could also consider the 24 hour sea crossing to either Bibao or Santander though beware, you would still have a six hour drive from there to Vigo.

Great house and perfect location for a family holiday.

The villa more than lived up to expectations. Our family group of up to 10 people at one stage had plenty of space to relax, while the pool was a real hit with the children, as indeed was the table tennis table when the adults let them near it. The nearby beaches were superb and having a fun pizzeria within 5 minutes stroll was an added bonus.

Lovely place

Beatiful views from the house over La ría de Vigo and Islas Cies, we could also see dolphins on various occations. Our children had fun in the pool. The nearby beach was a bit dangerous for the kids so we went to other beaches like Playa América instead (ten minutes away). Don´t miss the boat trip to Cies islands, it is like paradise.

Great place to explore Galician coastline.

We had a wonderful stay at this house, perfectly located between Vigo and Baiona, making it ideal for exploring both towns and the beautiful surrounding coastline. The views of the sea and the Cíes Islands from the property are truly breathtaking. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need—just bring your clothes and whatever you want to cook. All services and amenities are available, so you can relax and feel at home from the moment you arrive.The property is located in a private residential area with access restricted to residents, which made us feel safe and added to the sense of exclusivity. The owner was extremely attentive and made the check-in process very easy, always available to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with incredible views and all the comforts you could wish for.

Geräumiges und blitzsauberes Haus in spezieller Lage

Das „Casa Nico“ liegt schön am Hang in einer Art Feriendorf. Das Haus wurde offensichtlich vor nicht allzu langer Zeit saniert: gute Materialien, schöne Oberflächen, alles in perfektem Zustand und wir fanden das Haus sehr sauber vor. Die Vermieter haben uns bestens im Vorfeld informierten und wertvolle Tips zB zu Restaurants gegeben. Jederzeit wieder!

Buena ubicación y estupendas vistas

Alojamiento perfecto, una casa muy cómoda, limpia y muy bien equipada. Excelente comunicación con el propietario. Ubicada en zona residencial, tranquila, y cerca de estupendas playas. A un paso de Vigo y Baiona. Hemos disfrutado de su piscina y las magnificas vistas desde la terraza: al mar (tuvimos suerte y hasta divisamos delfines!) y a las Islas Cíes. Todo perfecto ¡Esperamos repetir!

Ubicación excelente

Vacaciones geniales en una ubicación magnifica, cerca de Vigo y Baiona y junto a numerosos restaurantes de la zona. Casa amplia con piscina, con todo tipo de facilidades. Con acceso directo a unas calas desde la urbanización y a solo 10-12 min en coche de la magnífica playa America. Es una maravilla poder disfrutar del atardecer mirando al mar y las Islas Cíes desde su terraza y ventanas. Muy recomendable.

Mooi, groot huis met 4 badkamers en 5 slaapkamers. Fantastisch balkon met zee- en stranduitzicht. 200 meter van het strand. Zéér complete keuken en ruim huis. Mooi zwembad, als het weer het toelaat. Eigen trap richting strand en rotsen. Huis ligt in een wijk die afgesloten is middels een groot automatisch hek. Mooie accommodatie voor onze familie met 12 personen.

Schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht und klasse Strand

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit 10 Personen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht. Vom Pool mit eigenem Kühlschrank, Grill, Garage mit Tischtennisplatte bis hin zum Balkon mit toller Aussicht über das Meer und die Cies-Inseln. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Der zu Fuß in ca. 10min. erreichbare Strand ist aufgrund der wenigen Parkplätze nicht überlaufen und sehr schön. Tolle Strandbar. Wir waren in Vigo wegen der U21-Handball-WM und hätten sonst wahrscheinlich nie Vigo als Urlaubsziel gewählt. Das hat sich nun aber geändert. Galizien ist sehr schön und touristisch nicht überlaufen. Die Atlantikstrände sind klasse und wir werden sicherlich noch mal wiederkommen.

Schöngelegenes Ferienhaus für eine größe Gruppe mit Strandnähe und Gastronomie

Wir waren mit zwei Familien dort und waren sehr vom Haus angetan. 5 km nördlich und 5 km südlich befinden sich die zwei wohl bekanntesten Strände "Samil " und "Playa America" die sehr groß, gepflegt und schön sind. Mit den Fahrrad kann man schöne Touren von dem Haus aus starten. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und funktionell eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 bis 12 Personen zu bewirten. Wir werden sicher noch einmal das Haus in der Zukunft buchen.

Perfectly relaxing home from home

The villa is spacious, well equipped and a comfortable home from home with a beautiful view over to the Cies Islands. Great location for visiting this area of Spain, and we also had a day trip to Porto.The kids absolutely loved the pool. The owner, Ken, was very helpful when we had to extend our stay abroad after my son took ill and had to stay in hospital for a few days. I would definitely recommend this villa.

Fantastic and relaxing place to stay

Perfect area for visiting all the best places to see in Galicia. Beautiful private little beach with access to bigger beach and gorgeous sunsets. Need a car and mobility to nagotiate steps for beach but perfect for families.Everything you need in the house and lovely pool. Very authentic and non tourist are.

Hervorragendes Domizil

Wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer mit den Cies Inseln und vorbeischwimmenden Delphinen. Schöner, abgegrenzter Strandabschnitt, der in drei Minuten über eine Treppe zu erreichen ist. Kleiner feiner Pool und gut ausgestattetes Haus. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub hier verbracht und kommen gerne wieder:)

Fantastic property great location

Casa Tico was perfect for us, two families with 5 children (including 2 babies) between us. The house had everything in it we needed and the balcony has a lovely wide view of the ocean and islands, perfect for meals and watching the sunset with a glass of wine when the children were in bed. It's a short walk across rocks to a very pretty sandy beach, which is very sheltered and has lots of natural shade. There's also the pool of course with our children loved splashing around in. A bit farther afield in the car and there are many beautiful beaches to explore along the coast. Santiago is an hour away and we also enjoyed visiting Baiona and Vigo. Food in the region was great as was the wine and the owners accommodating and easy to deal with. Would certainly recommend it.

A casa encontra-se em perfeitas condições, bastante limpa, bem conservada, agradaveis zonas de lazer com praia privativa e numa zona tranquila. de Destacar amabilidade do dono Ken que várias vezes nos contactou para saber se estava tudo bem e preocupado para que todas as nossas vontades fossem satisfeitas bem como da pessoas que nos apoio no local. Recomendo vivamente EN | Home and great location for a family holidaying. The house is in perfect condition, very clean, well maintained, pleasant leisure area with private beach and a quiet area. Highlight of kindness owner Ken contacted us several times to see if all was well and worried that all our wishes were satisfied and the people we support on site. We strongly recommend

A standard family. parents 2 daughters. We lived in Vigo between 1991 and 2000 in Casa Tico (named after our dog in fact)

Why they chose this property

We bought it as our family home when we worked in Vigo because it was right next to the sea and the beach with amazing views and because it is also a big, comfortable house which absorbs any number of kid's friends etc.

I suppose the weirdest thing about this is the fact that we went on holiday to Vigo in 1989 before there was ever an inkling that we might end up working there. We stayed at a B & B right next to Saianes Beach (which is our local beach), looked at Casa Tico and said to ourselves how nice it would be to live there.

It was a matter solely of chance and coincidence we ended up living in it 3 years later.

When we left in 2000, logically we should have sold it of course but none of us could bear to so we ended up becoming 'first time buyers' again with all that implies: big mortgage, small house and so on. Worth it though!

What makes this property unique

The sunset over the Cies Islands looking west to the Atlantic ocean and the uncanny feeling of peace that engulfs you when you step out onto the seaward facing terrace.
