Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
More lighting is needed in the kitchen. Need light over the sink in kitchen. Need measuring cups. Need dressers for clothes. Rug in living room needs a good cleaning. Good location to the beach and surrounding amenities.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestions regarding the kitchen lighting, storage spaces, and rug. The home is professionally cleaned between every stay, and I truly value this type of specific input as it helps me continue to evaluate and improve the guest experience.
I hope I will have the opportunity to host you again.

Loved this property- the two kitchens were definitely helpful and the property was clean and practical. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but all the other amenities were perfect! Definitely the nicest dog-friendly place I have stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, spacious, and well laid- out. The host was very responsive when we had questions. My only concern was the stairs and step down into the living room were very slippery- I might suggest treads for safety!

Hi Genie! Thanks so much for your kind words about our home and we'll take your feedback to improve upon. I hope we get the chance to host you again soon!
Structure is older and outside is not super well maintained. Indoors really very pretty, large and airy. A lot of room and Cape Cod charm. The location is unbeatable.
The house is very nicely decorated. The house is almost like two large apartments with a master bed/bath, living room, dining area and kitchen on the first floor and a second kitchen, dining area, living room and two more bedrooms upstairs. It was perfect for a weekend with our adult children.

We found the property immaculate and perfect for family gatherings
The upstairs is like a second floor separate living area with a second kitchen two bathrooms and plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and tv area (tho we couldn’t figure out how to get that tv to work)
But the downstairs has a good kitchen and two bathrooms as well as a primary bedroom
Can walk to two great breakfast/lunch cafés
A charming ice cream shop and a few more yards down a nice restaurant/pub
The braces are close
And close to wonderful Chatham MA
Fabulous location, roomy accomodations, great for families
Great jumping off point for other areas and plenty to do and see in Orleans. It is in a lovely neighborhood between the center of town and the beach. The beds are super comfortable, and the home has two separate living areas and kitchens. Only issue was problems with the locks on a Sunday night. It was taken care of on Monday, which would have been a problem if we were locked out. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
The location for the house was great! Loved the area and you can walk to the cafe, market and ice cream store! Beautiful street and nice walks in the morning. I didn’t find any negatives with the house, the stairs are a bit difficult, but typical for a 2 story house. That’s the only apprehension I had about the home of someone has small kids or animals. Loved our experience, everything was super clean and we really enjoyed our time there!
My husband and I arrived on Saturday September 13th. The property was as advertised for # of sleeping, cleanliness, # of bathrooms, asset to the beach and other retail places. There were no drawers in the bedrooms for clothing, the couches were extremely old and uncomfortable and difficult to get out of. Upstairs, there was only one working light for reading in the small bedroom, the sinks in the bathrooms (both up and downstairs) didn’t allow space for toiletries, upstairs the bathroom didn’t have anything on the back of the door, for hanging robes or clothing. There was only one blanket in the entire house, we had some nights that went down to the 50’s, there were no chairs in the bedrooms, Some of these amenities would have made the house more inviting and allowed for the guests to enjoy time in the house.
Clean, spacious home Needs dresser in master bedroom or, at minimum, something to put suitcases on. It’s hard to enjoy dealing with our suitcases on the floor. We only used the downstairs but my wife said the upper floor was very nice. Very nice fixtures in all bathrooms. Shower in master bedroom could use a grab bar for safety. Just some suggestions but overall nice place.
Right behind Nauset Farms, across from Smitty's ice cream, a short bike ride to Nauset beach. The setup was great for our teen boys who took the bunkroom upstairs while their parents had downstairs. Two areas of improvement: 1) Lighting on lower level - it's dark 2) The outside gathering area is in desperate need of flowers! Very little to look at while drinking morning coffee. The many PROS offset these 2 items. Clean! Big! and great location.
Me and my friends were looking for a place to go for vacation and although we were hesitant at first about this home, we were glad we made the right choice. The house was specious and clean. There were enough space for all eight of us. The only downside was having to be out by 9am. I wish we could leave around the same time we were able to check in (4pm). The house did have a handful of rules we had to follow, but I can understand why. The area was pretty. The neighbors left us alone. We did have to buy everything because the house only had the essentials, but splitting between the eight of us it was fine. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The layout and location were fantastic. It felt like the house had just been refreshed (new paint, tags were still on many of the accessories and the window coverings seemed new). Just a few things were missing that would have turned it into a 5 star beach house:
Outdoor water: There was no access to any water outside to rinse the sand from our feet. We ended up purchasing a basin to keep outside, but until then we were sweeping up lots of sand.
Better window coverings: There were only sheer curtains on the bedroom windows so there was very little privacy at night.
Somewhere to keep your things: There weren't any drawers or hooks on the doors for managing clothing.
These details aside, everything was great.

Del Mar Vacations - Orleans, MA
This is a clean, spacious home in close proximity to beach, restaurants and the Nauset Market. It had a whole other apartment basically on the second floor with another kitchen, dining area and living space. Bedrooms are large (two of the three). Convenient laundry on first floor. AC cranks. Large front yard and nice big driveway. A few tips for improvement-there is no drawers in main bedroom for clothing. No counter space in that bathroom either. There is very little counter space in kitchen and ZERO cabinet space for our food. We had to keep all food in boxes on the floor. The upstairs large bedroom has minimal lighting( one lamp and bulb was out). The outdoor space is quite drab, old furniture on an old shuffleboard court in the hot sun. One wicker chair almost broke when my daughter bf sat in it.
A huge plus was the Delmar staff. They were immediate in their responses ( there was no large bowl for salad so it was delivered by the end of the day. There was no outdoor lighting and an amazing handyman showed up and opened up the capped lights and installed a bright light over the grills. He also added a solar lamp which shines on the patio table. They were very helpful with our crazy day moving from one rental to the next, providing late checkout and early check-in. When they realized they couldn’t accommodate earlier than 3:00 they offered us lunch reimbursement $50pp! Delmar for the win!

Hi Kristin, thank you so much for staying with us and for providing your feedback on the home! We appreciate you taking the time to send it in so we can continue to improve! I'm glad we were able to address some of your issues and for those we were not able to address immediately, we are working with our awesome homeowner! Style and decor are a personal choice, so while this home may not have had a style of your preference, we do have a number of homes that may and we'd love to host you again and find the perfect home for your family. Thank you again and have a wonderful winter!
This home was clean, decorated nicely, had everything we needed. The two floors allowed my family of six adults plenty of room. Great location nice market next store and good restaurants in walking distance. Close to beach , But sharks warring everywhere. I would give this rental a 5 star rating.
The house itself was great, it slept 8 of us comfortably. Having a grocery store and a coffee shop next door was nice. Really short drives to beaches facing east and west. It was a perfect place for a week with family.
This house has a beautiful interior, but is not quite what I would consider a beach house. Although it has an upstairs and downstairs kitchen, utensils are somewhat minimal (we had to purchase a corkscrew, both coffee makers were small—about enough for 2 people). The downstairs king sized bed was quite comfortable, the upstairs beds not so much. There is now an outside spigot to rinse your feet, but no outside shower. Outdoor dining was limited to the front porch, with a view of the driveway, the upstairs deck only having room for 2 chairs. We did not try the backyard grill. There is a nice short walk to the “pond” at the end of the street, but it is not a place to swim. The Nauset Beach is only a short drive (about 2 miles) very convenient, and an easy walk from the parking lot, which may fill up sometimes, but not while we were there. Convenient farm store next door, but check the hours, closed on certain days. (They sell a lot of wine but not corkscrews!). Lovely cafe across the street, and nice restaurant just down the road (make reservations!). Good for multigenerational family, with the young folks upstairs.
Our trip was in May 2021. Beautiful weather and the nice house help us enjoy the week. Comfortable beds, kitchen stocked well enough with equipment/utensils. Had no issues.
Will consider this house again on our next visit.
