The accommodation was great. It was well equipped with everything you might need and Bruce was a friendly and accommodating host. Super comfy bed! We’d certainly stay again.

Great Escape

Tucked away off the main road so nice and quiet. Captures the afternoon sun beautifully in the lounge and bedroom. Happy to stay put in the afternoon and settle down to read a good book

A wonderful sense of peace, calm and tranquility right from stepping in the door. Very clean, tidy and comfortable with all amenities well looked after. A very private and beautifully kept garden. It was a joy to spend 3 nights there. Thank you Bruce.

Great Location, Serene and cosy.

Arrived to a very clean and spacious unit with everything we needed. Unit is under the owners house with it's own front entry. It is quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to unwind. Close to the main street, the beach and a 6 minute walk to the Tree-House Bar and Bistro. (A friendly, relaxed Kiwi Bistro) A six minute walk to Mangaotuku Walkway and a 5 minute bike ride to the Coastal walkway and cycle path.

Great place, great location, great host

Recently fully renovated, very clean and "new". Location is excellent - a kilometer or so from the centre of NP. It is set up for just 2 people - so, just 2 wine glasses, etc. We cooked dinner in-house without difficulty. Sky TV included, which was nice. Good internet speed. And Bruce is a delight - lovely guy. So, 100%.

Pleasant but missed the mark

Great communication with the owner but the property wasn't quite as advertised. Repainted and some new cabinetry and carpet but shower was very dated and decor needs updating.

The place was in great condition and the stay was great. The owner lives upstairs and it was easy to ask him for things that were missing (wine glass, etc.). The only thing missing was a Bodum to make coffee and we would have appreciated some body gel and shampoo. Otherwise, everything was great, the garden is beautiful and we had the chance to eat outside all the time.
