Beautiful Getaway

We had great stay! The house was better than expected. It is beautiful and extremely comfortable. I really likes that each bedroom has it own bathroom. It has also has a half bath downstairs and a half bath by the kitchen. I lost count of the porches. I would definitely stay again.

Calming

The location is amazing! The beachside bedroom community is charming. No traffic noise and the night sky is spectacular. Provisions must be acquired in Tallahassee (40 min drive) although 15 min away is gas. The first two floors provide for storm surge so no living space. Next level up has 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed and private bath. Laundry room is also on this level. The top floor has a spacious living room, well equipped kitchen and bunk room with a en-suite bathroom. The bunk room has a trundle bed and bunk able to sleep 4. There is also a 1/2 bath on this level. Lots of board games for fun are available too even though we had brought our own. There is also a child gate on the top level. On the ground floor a spacious covered patio with grill and picnic table are available. There is also a child sized climbing wall and slide. The dock is in excellent condition. The view is absolutely lovely from every angle of the home. Like most homes that are near the salt water there are some quirks with the exterior doors and difficulty opening. Be prepared for climbing stairs though. No elevator. We had a maintenance issue that eventually worked out during our stay. Communication was very good. Would return to the area.

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful weekend with my family after celebrating my son's graduation in Tallahassee. Really enjoyed evenings on the deck. Loved being right on the water and having a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. Would love to return again!

fabulous beach getaway

The house is even better than the photographs! We especially loved the open-to-the-sky balcony with views of the sunset. Ample space for everybody - comfortable beds, good linens, kitchen well-equipped, easy walking to the public beach.

The Perfect Place

This is our third year in a row staying at this house because it’s absolutely perfect. Each room has their own bathroom, large kitchen, short walk to the beach, great views from the balconies, deep canal with a dock and plenty of group space. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this place is always our favorite. We can come and go in the boat at any hour without tide limitations due to the deep water canal. The area offers great fishing, snorkeling areas, calm water for water sports, Shell Point beach and a very cozy neighborhood that is safe. We will definitely be back again next year!

Very nice home!

We had a great time. The home was very nice and spacious. But, the children were disappointed that the tunnel slide was missing.
