Lovely, comfortable cottage at the end of a point directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Panoramic views of Apalachee Bay - canals on both sides. Area rich in bird and wildlife. Excellent fishing, boating, and sailing area. Very low traffic and flat terrain makes it ideal for walking, hiking, and biking. Boat ramp and public beach at Shell Point, 10 minutes by car. Large screened porch and two decks. Completely furnished and equipped. MB has queen bed. 2nd bedroom has queen bed, and a bunk bed with double bed bottom and twin top bunk. Small private, but unfenced swimming pool on property. 12'x12x4'deep. Pole house, stairs up to living area.

Adjacent to St. Marks Wildlife Refuge and Apalachicola National Forest. Relaxed, secluded, rural setting in Wakulla County. Best seafood restaurants anywhere. This is the place to relax and recharge. Near Wakulla Springs State Park and Lodge. Easy commuting distance from Tallahassee, Capitol Complex, and Florida State University.

We love it here, so relaxing, the outdoor living is amazing. Fishing is great, great for kayaking and the pool is my favorite.

Enjoyed most of our time relaxing on the huge screened wrap-around deck overlooking the ocean. Very quiet and beautiful location. Spacious house, equipped with everything we needed. Host is nice and thorough. We will definitely consider retuning in the future.

Our family agreed that this is one of our favorite rentals. We spent most of the day in the poolwhere we saw wildlife in the gulf, sharks, dolphin, rays, and a gator. It was just beautiful. The home is old Florida at its best with a huge wrap around porch, and a large screened in area. Loved it!

The overall impressive part of this property is the view! The deck was great for dinning and relaxing. The cool gulf breeze while resting in the hammock was incredible.

Stay in Paradise

Being surrounded by water and wildlife is a awesome experience. Birds of Florida, hiking St. Marks, riding the boat at Wakulla Springs, short driving trips, fishing, boating all within the reach of the rental. Very peaceful and a great deck to observe the ins and outs of the tides. An amazing place to visit and recharge.

Gulf of Mexico view

The view was what I came for and it did not disappoint, we relaxed and caught some crabs, we did not catch fish, I guess when I went on vacation, they did too, you can not get any closer to the gulf while in a pool

Beautiful views and close to St Marks lighthouse and Wakulla Springs

The view from every room are beautiful. The porches are amazing. The house is old school and not fancy which is perfect for us. We loved it and have already booked another stay for us and another couple next spring. We caught lots of fish right from the porch and saw dolphins at sunrise and sunset. We went about 25 minutes away to Wakulla Springs and saw manatees.

Amazing vacation stay

We had an amazing time. Saw dolphins our first morning there! Stars at night were also amazing. Caught tons of crabs and enjoyed watching the pelicans. We watched the sunrise out our bedroom every morning. Everything is pretty much there that you need. Shellpoint beach and mashes sand were near and amazing. Hope to come back again with the family.

Beautiful Setting

The pictures really don't do the place justice. I was a really great home to stay in. It was a little windy while we were there, but the view is awesome! Wakula Springs is also a fun getaway for part of a day. We saw a lot of wildlife including a bunch of alligators and even a manatee. Book your tickets for the boat ride early as we had a tough time getting tickets for all 4 of us.

The Host was excellent at communicating and the home was Very comfortable. If it’s a view you want this one is beautiful from all angles. Fishing off the dock had my teenager living his best life.
