Bird’s Up Retreat-Gulf Front Home at Shell Point Beach

This beautiful coastal home is the perfect oasis for families, guy's fishing trip, girl's getaway and excellent for large groups. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that accommodates 16 but with room for everyone to have their own space. It is located directly across from Shell Point Beach with exquisite views of the gulf. If you are looking for a place to chill this is the getaway for you.
This home was built in 2019 for our growing family but for other families to make memories as well. The main floor has an open floor plan. As you enter from the covered porch into the living area it flows on into the dining and kitchen area. The living area has a 50” TV and wonderful views of the gulf. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area has seating for 8+.
The master bedroom and bath are on the main floor with a king bed and 40" TV. The bedroom has an entrance from the covered porch with a view of the gulf and the canal.
Upstairs you will find 4 additional bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has a king bed, 2 bedrooms with a queen bed each. There’s a bunk room for the kids with 2 twin over full bunks and an additional twin with twin trundle. Plenty of space for everyone and privacy for couples.
The location is hard to beat. We are directly across the street from the beach with unobstructed views of the gulf. On the beach you will find a volleyball court, playground for the kids, several pavilions and bathrooms for your convenience. The back side of our home is directly across from the boat ramp which is very convenient for boat launching. You are welcome to bring your boat and there is plenty of parking for a trailer at our property.
There is a covered porch on the front and a deck area on the side. This is the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise with your coffee or the breathtaking sunsets in the evening.
For your convenience there is a cargo lift for getting luggage and groceries up and a concrete area underneath for parking or outside entertaining.
All linens are provided, ample supply of towels, toilet tissue and paper towels. Laundry room with full sized washer and dryer with all the laundry essentials.
Children are more than welcome but pets are not allowed. This is also a non-smoking home and smoking is not allowed inside.
We are sure you will find everything you need and more in this beach retreat.

Location for fishing is great. House was clean and we had everything we needed for comfort. One idea would be a larger grill. With eight people plus typically staying there, it's difficult to have all the food ready at once. again, everything was great and we would definitely rent again, if available. It was a spacious house with beautiful views of water. The kids love how close they were to the beach & playground. It worked great for my daughter's families & I because we come to the area to visit for a family reunion in Crawfordsville.

The Blue House on the beach!

The house is like brand new...The Kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you would need.. The View from the balconies is priceless. The beach is located directly across the street.Would definitely stay again.

Great house in an amazing location!

We had a 3 generation vacation here over a long weekend. The house was immaculate and included everything we needed to be comfortable. There is ample common space inside, a great deck upstairs and lots of room under the house for gathering. The views were amazing and the beach is across the street. The owners were very prompt in all communications and have detailed instructions on anything related to the house, procedures, etc. as well as a great guidebook for area restaurants and attractions. We didn't use the golf cart, but it was a nice option to have. As "dad the pack mule" one of my favorite features was the lift to get all our stuff up and down. We brought our 24' bay boat and had no issues docking. The ramp is across the cove and one of the easiest setups we've experienced traveling with the boat. Plenty of room around the house to park the truck without unhooking the trailer and still have space for multiple other vehicles. We loved it and look forward to returning!

Great time had by all 9 of us!

My family (me, my wife, my two kids ((ages 12 + 15)), and my wife's brother and his family )(wife and 3 kids ages 3, 5, 7,) spent five nights at the house. There was plenty of room and then some for all! The beach is right across the street, and very easy to access. The younger kids really enjoyed playing on the beach and exploring in the water for hermit crabs and starfish and other sea creatures. The beach is very nice, and not too busy. It's not like the waters of the open Gulf or the Atlantic, but nice. The house is not only very spacious, but was clean and has everything you need. The back dock on the channel is an added bonus for putting in kayaks, or doing a little fishing. We kayaked both in the bay and in the channels, and caught a few fish. We even saw a few manatees in the channels. The hosts were very helpful and were quick to answer all the questions we had before, during, and after the stay. Highly recommend staying here. Especially families with kids.

WOW! This house has it all including great hosts!

Let's start with water on all four sides! The beach is a short walk, there is a dock to park your boat with easy access to the ocean, and a ramp that is just a short drive/walk. Access to the golf cart in this community was a great amenity. The house itself was well furnished and appointed; the hosts really thought about what would be used in the house from dishes, to cookware to condiments! We have stayed as a family at multiple short term rentals and this is by far and away the best. Great location. Great amenities. Great house. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets on each day. If you want to be on the forgotten coast this is the house for you. Thank you to the hosts for great communication and especially for sharing your piece of heaven!
