The Space:
Starting from the outside … the lot is open and welcoming, and you'll love the inviting exterior of this classic Victorian home built in 1898. Get ready for an evening spent relaxing under clear Colorado skies. Enter the home through the front after parking off the street. You'll be struck by the quality of the modern renovations immediately once inside. The space has been opened up with larger, modern windows and a more open floor-plan. The furnishings and surfaces are of quality … wood and stone and stainless steel. The kitchen features a large center island with quality appliances … there's everything you need here to prepare masterful culinary creations and to entertain.

The master bedroom, featuring KING comfort, is located on the main level … easily accessible and stylish. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs. A comfortable king bed is available in the largest bedroom upstairs. There's a perfect room for kids, too, with a dual twin setup in the third bedroom. All beds feature quality appointments, professionally cleaned and laundered. The two bathrooms in the home have been designed with a clean, modern scheme—plenty of white, plenty of tile, and inviting, quality showers. Wonderful hot tub for your enjoyment!

The Neighborhood:
Located just east of Downtown Colorado Springs in a unique neighborhood combining convenient urban access with suburban comfort, this area is perfect for visitors and guests to the Pikes Peak Region. Located directly across the street from Memorial Park—the city's largest urban park featuring Prospect Lake which offers boating, kayaking and swimming in the summer. An ice rink, skate park and plenty of green open spaces lie adjacent to the internationally recognized Fallen Firefighter Memorial honoring the men and women who've given their lives in the service of fire rescue.

There are neighborhood cafes here (Switchback Coffee Roasters is just up the street), restaurants, shops, bars, galleries and museums close and in abundance. The United States Olympic Training Center is also just up the road from this home. And to top everything off, the most well-known attractions for visitors and guests are just a short-drive away: Garden of the Gods, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Broadmoor, Manitou Springs are all 10-15 minutes away. The Airport, US Air Force Academy & Pikes Peak are all about 20 minutes away. Urban ease along with access to so much Colorado Springs goodness—this location truly is exceptional.

Getting Around:
Although there are plenty of parks, restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, breweries and outdoor recreational opportunities close to this property (within walking or biking distance!) we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
* We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
* NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Please be respectful to the neighbors - quiet hours are 10pm - 7am;
* Trash bins are located in the back on the side of the home. The trash pick up day is on Monday morning and is house side pick. (No need to roll to street)

🐶Dog Policy:
-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

- A $35 plus tax hot tub fee will be applied to the total cost of the reservation. This cost goes towards cleaning and maintaining our hot tubs at the highest level and to ensure that the hot tub is perfectly clean and serviced before you arrive.

Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.

Additional Services:
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early. Thank you for your understanding.
- Late Checkout Service: $25/hr (Late as 12 pm)

The property was in poor repair with towel rack hanging, mold on the bathroom walls and in the shower stall. Cobwebs in the corners. Blinds broken. Outside needed blown leaves all over in the nice back seating area. I want some substantial money back. Very disappointed. I need a call please. Thanks Eric Alexander

everything we needed!
Adorable, clean, and well appointed older home. Bedrooms were quite comfy and suitable for our party - and the bedding was very nice! Note: there is only ONE shower in the home - so everyone takes turns. It was a very nice shower. However, you must figure out how the handle works so you can get hot water. Do request kitchen towels. Hot tub was very enjoyable! Yard well suited for a dog - we changed our mind and didn't bring ours, but she would have liked it!

Cons: check in is invasive. The whole property inside and out smells like cat pee, there was coffee left in the coffee pot, dog crap in the yard, clothes and a towel left from former guests and the soap was completely watered down so good luck washing your hands. Pros: great location, hot tub is a plus although we didn't use it. They did provide detergent, body washes etc and washer and dryer. In summary, if we can avoid it, we will not be staying with any "Hoste" property ever again.
