Beautiful Alp chalet tastefully renovated, located on the ski slopes in the Sommand Praz-de-Lys resort in Haute-Savoie, 1 hour from Geneva and Chamonix, this peaceful haven offers an exceptional panoramic view.

Everything has been planned to bring you comfort:
On the ground floor:
A large living room for up to 20 people including:
- A large living room with beautiful wood stove
- A dining room and a large kitchen
- A sauna

First floor:
- 4 large bedrooms with a bathroom and WC

For all lovers of nature and skiing you will find:

- 45 km Alpine ski slopes
- 24 lifts and 6 chair lifts
- 60 km of cross-country trails
- 30 km of footpaths
- Ice skating rink at Sommand station

You can put the skis in front of the cottage and take the ski lift which lies just below to join
the station.

It is the ideal place to meet friends or family for a week or a weekend to enjoy the scenery, the many activities offered (hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, ...). and come together to enjoy a good fondue, tartiflette or other regional dishes.
You will find in Mieussy: fruit that offers a whole assortment of cheese, cold meats and specialties of the country and next to an excellent butcher-caterer.

Très beau chalet parfaitement équipé

Le Maclavierre est un havre de paix perdu en pleine nature. Chaleureux, il est extrêmement bien aménagé et confortable. La grande pièce de vie, la cheminée et le jacuzzi permettent de partager d’agréables moments entre amis tout en garantissant l’intimité de chacun grâce aux quatre chambres avec mezzanine pour certaines et salles de bains privatives. Pierre et Marinelle sont extrêmement gentils et prévenants ce qui a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour !

Chalet juste magnifique l'emplacement incroyable avec la vue sur la vallée

Pour mes 30 ans nous avons passer 3 nuits au maclavierre et que dire a part que c'était incroyable une immersion totale en montagne enneigée pour les amoureux de la nature , ou du ski je recommande fortement!! Les hôtes (pierre et marinoelle) était au petit soin ! Le chalet est parfait et tout confort pour y passer des moments chaleureux entre amis et famille ! Nous avons passés un week-end génial entre amis où le cadre nous a permis de complétement déconnecté. Les remontées mécaniques étaient fermées mais nous nous sommes pas ennuyés pour autant : ballade en raquette, luge, babyfoot, jacuzzi, le tout avec vue sur les montagnes. Encore un accueil très chaleureux de Marinelle et Pierrot ! C'est la 2ème année que nous nous retrouvons ici entre amis et ce n'est sans doute pas la dernière fois. Nous reviendrons !

Fabulous chalet

This chalet is off the beaten track- if the closest piste isn’t open ( it wasn’t for us) it is a 200m walk up a steep hill to get to your car. However, the reward for this is the most quiet, peaceful chalet we’ve ever stayed in - truly beautiful Marinelle and Pierre are perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble. They advised and arranged things such as airport transportation for us. Pierre even brought us some amazing cheese and smoked sausage Can’t wait to go back !

Un chalet plus que complet, offre d'excellentes prestations. Nous étions une équipe de 18 personnes et tout s'est très bien passé: chalet très bien entretenu et très propre. Une mention spéciale pour les propriétaires Marinelle et Pierre qui ont su être présents tout au long du séjour quand nous en avons besoin, des personnes disponibles, à l'écoute et très serviables. Je recommande à 100 % !!
