THE CABIN This beautiful property is called The Lost Cabin at the Creek because it is an excellent place to disconnect, escape and relax. The creek provides great opportunities for fishing, swimming, exploring, viewing wildlife, and generally enjoying the outdoors. The cabin was constructed in 2013 and provides two bedrooms, a sleeping loft, bathroom with shower, well equipped kitchen, gas log fireplace, screened-in back porch, hot tub, charcoal grill, fire pit, and all the amenities necessary to enjoy your stay. The cabin sleeps 6 people with both bedrooms having queen size beds. The loft is furnished with 2 twin beds.
THE PROPERTY The Lost Cabin sits directly on 600 feet of the banks of Lick Creek, running the entire length of the property. The creek is spring fed and runs year round. On the back of the cabin is a screened-in porch which leads to the outside deck and a 4-person hot tub. All of these areas provide great views of the creek. Next to the back porch is a cooking and entertainment area that includes a charcoal grill with outdoor seating, and a fire pit (wood provided). The outdoor entertainment area gently slopes down to water for easy creek access. The creek has formed a natural swimming and fishing area. The land across the dirt road is a part of Lost Cabin at the Creek property, so please enjoy the amenities there as well. The swimming hole is across the dirt road. Rushing water over the rock formation provides relaxing sounds and another great area to enjoy the creek.

A perfect cabin retreat! Everything is geared towards appreciating the beauty of the natural surroundings - from watching the sunrise on the screened in deck with the creek running in the background to a hot tub outside to unwind after a day of rockhounding and even the fire pit to roast s'mores and admire the stars. What a lovely, quiet place to recharge :)
We had an amazing time at Lost Cabin at the Creek. The cabin itself is great and was really well stocked. But the real treasure is this cabin’s privacy and location by the water. This is by far my favorite place I’ve ever stayed on VRBO.
We had the best time! Everything was as advertised. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Private, clean, and the beds were so comfy. The front porch view of the running creek was perfect & cozy. Everything was amazing. Will be staying again in the future!
Host was very friendly when I messaged her. Property was very clean and everything was ready for us. The electronic door lock and security system made for easy access as well as a sense of security when we were not there. I would absolutely recommend the property to anyone!
We had a wonderful time at this very secluded adorable cabin. Listening to the creek is so peaceful and we enjoyed exploring all the rocks in the creek for the perfect skipping rocks with our 6 yr. old grandson. You are only about 15 minutes away from restaurants in both Mt. Ida and Glenwood. They both have local cafes with delicious food as well as Little Italy in Glenwood. If you're looking for a getaway to relax and unwind this is the perfect cabin. We definitely intend to book The Lost Cabin on the Creek again!
We had a great stay! The house was well equipped and clean. The location is wonderful; private and quiet. We loved the creek and spent most of our time swimming and exploring. We also went crystal mining which was a very close 20 minute drive. Tons of fun and hope to come back!
My family had such an amazing stay! Everything was amazing. The house was super comfortable for our family of 5. We really enjoyed the swimming hole. We spent a lot of time there just hanging out. The hot tub was an extra bonus that was enjoyed by all. We loved making fires and cooking s'mores. We took trips to dig crystals at Wegners and went kayaking with Lucky's. We had the best time and hope to come back again soon.
We had such a wonderful time at the cabin. It was a nice way to end our crystal mining days. Having coffee on the porch every morning while listening to the river was bliss. We will be back!
Loved this property! So peaceful and relaxing. Listening to the birds and the creek was what we needed. The hot tub and firepit, with plenty of firewood, was a bonus! Had fun in the area too! Really want to go back to this one!
This cabin is nestled in a very scenic area with a beautiful creek, running alongside and a perfectly positioned fire pit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and the cabinet is a great size for our group. We had a great time floating the river in canoes in Glenwood.
This is a quiet place tucked away in the woods with a running creek perfect for exploring. Between the fire pit, hot tub, and screened in porch there are many ways to enjoy the outdoors. A perfect little getaway spot!
My Family really enjoyed our stay, The Cabin was exactly what was advertised and had everything we needed to get away and enjoy the week. Would definitely stay there again.
