The house -cottage could use a lot of things to make it better. The musty smell was over whelming.

Good beach location

The hosts were next door and were very accommodating, providing beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The house is just across the road from the beach.

A cute, rustic stay at the beach

We overall had a lovely time at this property. There are many positive things about the property like that it is so close to the beach you can walk, that you therefore do not need to pay for parking at the beach and that it's not right on the main drag, so you don't have to deal with all that hoopla.A few things of note for interested parties:* there is no AC, instead they have window units. It still got pretty warm in the main room (though they gave us a fan when requested)* the place is pretty "rustic", i.e. there is no dishwasher and the bath is definitely small and older* the queen mattress is pretty old and has a dip in the middle. The linen likewise is old and had lost it's elasticity, so the sheet would come off every night* they only provide one dish towel and I was told they used a linen service that was very specific on quantities so they didn't have any more. However when they dropped off the fan they gave us some extra hand towels we were able to use instead* the kitchen has a lot of dishes and pots and pans, but again, pretty old and used. No cutting board. So if you're intending to cook, you might want to bring your own* communication: I never heard back when communicating with them via the vrbo website and only was able to connect with the point person when I had received the check in information which included an email address. Overall though, the price matches what you get and again, the closeness to the beach is a real plus.

Property needs some updates . The appliances are are old-frig.didn't get cold enough. Wifi bad.

Property managers were great, friendly and helpful.Location was great. House needs some updates/work.
