Away @ Nelson Bay' is a fantastic five bedroom, pet friendly home that features beautiful water views from the balcony and located in close proximity to Nelson Bay CBD and only a short distance to the pet friendly 'Bagnall Beach' where dogs can be walked freely and let off to play.
Upstairs has ducted air conditioning throughout with a large living/ dining area with a wall mounted TV, DVD player, Netflix and Free NBN Wi-Fi and a fabulous deck with water views, lounge and dining facilities which is perfect for your afternoon BBQ's. The property has a large, renovated, fully equipped modern kitchen with a butlers pantry and full cooking facilities including induction cooktop, microwave, under bench oven, family size fridge/ freezer and a large island bench with barstools for extra dining. Three bedrooms all with ceiling fans, ducted air conditioning, linen and bed making, the main bedroom also having water views and an ensuite with shower toilet and vanity. The modern main bathroom is on the upstairs level and has a bath, shower, toilet and vanity.
Downstairs leads you to the rumpus room which is fabulous for the kids to have their own space, providing a wall mounted TV, split system air conditioner, large corner leather lounge, foosball games table and books. Two more bedrooms all with ceiling fans, linen and bed making provided. The internal laundry is also located downstairs and has a front loader washing machine, dryer facilities and the third bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity.
The fully secured large backyard is perfect for the kids and dog to play and the luxury of a outdoor sun shower which is great for when you come back from the beach. Parking in total for 4 vehicles including side access for a small boat and the double lock up garage.
A quick five-minute drive into the heart of Nelson Bay CBD where you can enjoy a gourmet breakfast and barista made coffee at many trendy cafés and award-winning restaurants, D'Albora Marina. There is also a fantastic Woolworths and BWS Bottle Shop, many boutique homeware and fashion stores and Nelson Bay foreshore and beach.
The iconic Shoal Bay beach, grand Tomaree Mountain (which boasts the Bay's best lookout and view), famous Shoal Bay Country Club (which has just been completely renovated) plus the locals favourite haunt Game fish Club are only a ten minute drive away.
If shopping is on the agenda then Salamander Square shopping mall is only a five-minute drive, you will find many food outlets, boutiques shops, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Kmart, Target and plenty of variety stores.
If the kids or kids at heart are after a bit of fun, why not try Toboggan Hill Park? The fun park features a toboggan run, mini-golf, water-balloon launchers and a giant maze also next door is Tomaree Aquatic Centre which provides a 50m outdoor heated pool, shaded wading pool, spiral water slide and large open lawn areas with free BBQ facilities, this will certainly be a fun day out for all involved and located only five minutes' drive from the property.

We really enjoyed our stay. Waking up in the morning to the lovely views of the water was so relaxing. The house met all our needs, was well equiped and just a couple of minutes from the Bagnalls or Duchies beach. Just what we needed.

First time staying in Nelson Bay, needed a five bed house for parents and four boys, which this place provided well.
A bit further than expected from town - a quick 20 minute walk .
Pet friendly which was great for the Beagle .

Was a great stay with Away the house was excellent and had all the amenities we needed well equipped house in kitchen and butlers pantry. The beds were pretty and comfortable with great pillows. You will not want to bring a thing to this property only yourselves and toiletries. The view was wonderfull. We had 2 families stay pets. Glad we booked one of the best we have stayed in. The kids loved the porch hammock and rocker. The pets loved the yard. The steps inside were a challenge for the oldies so we used the front steps and went around back gate to enter downstairs. But anyone staying here will love it.
Lovely big house with three bathrooms that was very appreciated. We took our 2 dogs who enjoyed the enclosed yard and being down the road from the dog friendly beach. Kitchen was well stocked and would def stay again
The house was ill equipped 2 pots in the kitchen to service 6 people crockery was dirty and old no Foxtel hot water was scarce bedding was clean but shabby dirty blankets in cupboard overall needs a good clean and update of all its equipment
We had a wonderful Christmas at this property.
The house is very well appointed , beds are very comfortable, bathrooms modern and clean.
The back deck affords amazing views of the Bay.
The house has air-conditioning in the dining /lounge area but all other rooms have fans . With the sea breeze through the house we didn't need anything else.
Our dog was safe in the secure back yard.
This property was an excellent choice for our party.
This property met our every requirement.
