Welcome to Pondside Cottage #1 at Holiday Shores. This quaint, relaxing home sits right on the edge of the pond at Holiday Shores Estates. With 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, living room with wood-burning fireplace and beautiful deck, over-looking the pond, you and your family can enjoy some quality time together. A very short walk to the beach, boat docks, tennis court and playground make this property even more attractive. This home has a regular "drip" coffee maker. Linens are not included and need to be brought - There is a queen in the master and 4 twins in the guest bedroom. Pillows and blankets are provided. If you plan on bringing a boat, please let us know!

Perfect for a long weekend in Old Forge

Cozy big warm cabin with all the needed amenities . Beautiful view of the pond and trees . Quiet area and We had a wonderful stay .

Cleanliness

Check in was great with Betsy. Upon arrival at our cabin, we noticed the place was not clean. Showers, tubs, floors were not clean. I called Betsy and sent her pictures. She wasn’t able to send someone out till the next day. The place needed to be cleaned before we could move in, shower and enjoy our stay. I spent the evening cleaning on my vacation. Three men were sent out the next day. It was just me and my two girls. It was very uncomfortable and intimidating. They spent a few minutes wiping down bathrooms, which I already had to do. Scott emailed me after and assured me cleaners are trained professionals and basically said the place was clean. I sent him pictures of a stained pillow and also said mattress pads were stained. He never responded to me. I have stayed in several different cabins at holiday shores and have never experienced this. I cannot recommend Rocky point properties and will not be staying there again.

Perfect fall getaway

Weekend stay

It was nice, I was a little bummed there was no fire pit. Mainly for us to have a small fire once our 1 year old went to bed. I also would recommend trimming some trees back so you can see the pond better from the deck..the kitchen floors looked like they needed have a good mop, and the comforter looked like it’s been there a while and not sure how often they are washed.. but it was nice how quiet it was and the location on the pond was nice.

Rustic and quaint

Wonderful location and beautiful lake access. The property has nice docks and great waterfront. The unit itself feels like a small rustic cottage. Would've liked to see the unit cleaned up better before we arrived- we ended up vacuuming the main areas before we got settled. We also found mouse droppings in the silverware drawer. The location and lake access made up for what the unit lacked.
