Very clean house. Host is very accommodating. Water level was down quite a bit but they still made sure I was able to get my boat in the water.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re thrilled to hear the house was spotless and that you felt well taken care of during your stay. Douglas Lake’s water levels can definitely fluctuate, so I’m glad we were able to make sure you could still get your boat in and enjoy your time on the water. We’d love to welcome you back to Ivey’s Cove anytime.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re thrilled to hear that Ivey’s Cove was just what you were looking for—from the peaceful neighborhood to those stunning sunset views from the hot tub. It’s great to know the beds and pillows hit the comfort mark too!
We truly appreciate your kind words about the hosting experience, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime for another relaxing stay.
The cabin perfectly adequate for an adult stay. We traveled with 2 toddlers. They loved the grassy field and deck. The deck railing has gaps big enough for a toddler to fit through though, so watch closely. There were also some protruding nail heads sticking out on the ground. So just be mindful. The hot tub is a bit older looking, but was a nice amenity. The hosts were very kind and helpful. I spoke to them about possibly installing a high up lock on the downstairs double doors for small children for future stays and they offered us a private fishing area beyond just the dock near their home. We happily caught a fish on their dock on our last day! There is a grocery store 15 minutes away and you are about 40 minutes about from Gaitlinberg and Pigeon Forge. You will need to bring or buy all household supplies, such as trash bags, dish sponge, etc.Overall, we had a very nice stay and would recommend the cabin to families with older children and adults. The hosts are very kind people.

Thank you so much for staying at Ivey’s Cove and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear the toddlers enjoyed the grassy field and deck, and that you were able to catch a fish on your last day — that always makes for a great memory.
We appreciate you mentioning the deck railing and the nail heads. We’ve already added these items to our maintenance list to ensure everything is as safe as possible for future guests. Thank you as well for the suggestion about a higher lock on the downstairs doors; it’s a helpful idea, and we’re looking into options.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re happy you had a nice stay overall. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.
We had a great time staying at the cabin. I love the peace and quiet of the cabin and the views at sunset were great. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. The owner defiantly went above and beyond for us.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re thrilled to hear you found Ivey’s Cove cozy and relaxing—it’s exactly the kind of lakeside experience we hope to provide. 😊
We’re glad the cabin felt like a peaceful retreat, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. If your travels bring you back to Douglas Lake, we’d love to welcome you again!
We had a great time at this property. The owners were very helpful in getting our boat in the lake since the water level was still very low. The hot tub was wonderful each evening as we watched the sunset.
While the drive was longer than we expected, we found lots to do and enjoy for all ages. There was so much to do, we didn’t get to it all in this trip!
We loved our stay. The only downfall is the distance from the boat dock to the cabin, and it's on a hillside. Otherwise the cabin is very cozy and comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. We loved Douglas Lake, and we will be back.
This was out where we stayed for our half way point to Florida and it was great! A little away from town due to being in the mountains, but it was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again! We were even able to meet the owners at one point and they are super nice!
If you are looking for a cabin on Douglas lake and sort of away from everyone this is a great pick! We had a wonderful time and the owners were amazing and very helpful! 100% recommend this cabin!
