Enjoy our Beautiful family unit one step from the ocean. Located within walking distance of all the restaurants, pubs, and bars that the area is famous for. It is equipped with everything you need for a simple, carefree vacation. Here you’ll find 2 double-beds, a full kitchen sporting your cooking basics, a coffee maker with coffee! A bathroom kitted out with shampoo, and towels as well as all the essentials needed to stay sanitary. We supply beach towels, umbrellas and chairs (first come first serve).

Our home is right in the heart of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea 15 minutes to the famous Las Olas Boulevard and 20 minutes to the Everglades cruise port Fort Lauderdale.

Perfect place to kick back and relax with everything you need to enjoy the best of what the area has to offer.

Great trip!

Despite rainy weather both days we were here, we had a great time. This condo is easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops and the condo had everything you could need.

Great location

Good location, convenient parking, good price, but one okay bed and one horrible bed unable to be slept on. #1 one on a rental should be comfortable beds and this one was a total failure.

Be aware of bogus charges after your stay

They make up bogus charges such as missing towels to get more money, be aware. I would not never stay here. Not honest people.

I would have appreciate you not to be so offensive. Because of that I have to clarify the situation to let the future guest make their own opinion. First of all, I am glad you enjoyed your stay as you mentioned it to us. I am sorry you didn't like when I sent you the pictures of the 2 washcloths that couldn't be reusable and telling you that 1 beach towel was missing as well. As you enjoyed it when you were there, we provide beach towels for our guests and we also have rules regarding damages and missing items like every places. You totally admitted the state of the washcloths and the cost ($10 total-$5 each) but not the missing towel so we didn't even charge you for! If you think $10 is trying to get money it is completely your point of view.

Great Location; Perfect for Families

My wife, 10-month-old son, and I stayed here last week and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Every amenity worked fine and it was perfect for our trip. The patio outside the room was great for morning breakfast and there was a grill that could be utilized as well. The location was probably the best part. The beach was a short five-minute walk away and getting to the shops/restaurants/bars of Lauderdale by the Sea was a ten-minute walk. Additionally, Fort Lauderdale was only about a 10-15 minute drive away, all along the coast. This gave us plenty to do and to check out during our stay. Lastly, the hospitality of Barbara and Maria was fantastic. They're both very accommodating and welcoming and made us feel right at home during our first time in this part of Florida. I'd highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a cozy place with a great location.

Pictures on listing do not match what was provided - but cute, clean room and great beach access

Okay, so let me start by saying my family and I were coming down to attend a funeral. I booked a room for two queen beds, kitchen, sofa, etc... as pictured above in the listing. Apparently someone booked at the same time I did. Marjorie reached out asking if I'd be willing to move into two separate rooms. I expressed I wasn't keen on the idea since staying the additional days was with the purpose of spending quality family time. However I asked her to send me details on the rooms, and was directed to the website. In looking up the rooms, one room had a kitchen, the other did not, and they were side by side, so I agreed to be moved to those initially just to avoid having to search for other accommodations and having my funds held. Marjorie did come back and say that the other family agreed to be moved, and we can stay together which was great! My issue is that what we got isn't what I booked and paid for. This room, while clean, and cute, DID NOT have a kitchen chair/couch as pictured above and there is nothing in the description of the property stating otherwise. My whole purpose of wanting the kitchen was to try and save a little bit on having to eat at restaurants the entire time, etc. I sent a message through VRBO the morning after we arrived, since we came in late, and it was not acknowledged. I did receive a text Sunday thanking us for our stay to which I expressed my issue and was offered a refund for the per night difference. So I asked then for my 3 night refund, since we stayed Thursday - Sunday, and was refunded 2 1/2 nights, not the full 3 night stay. Other than that, I have no complaints. Marjorie I feel like did try to make things work. The place is very comfortable, cute, clean & quaint. It's located directly across from the beach and a short walk from the downtown vendors, at Ft. Lauderdale by the Sea. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.. just be sure the room you are booking is what you are guaranteed to get prior to booking and upon arrival.

cute small retro motel in great location

Great spot for staying in Lauderdale by the Bay. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated, with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Loved that there was a shaded outdoor seating area right outside the front door. Very quick walk to beach, as well a short walk to downtown area, as well as dining on the intercostal waterway. I did not rent a car, so appreciated being able to walk to a small market (with decent prices) just a couple blocks from the motel. My only suggestion is that the unit include beach chairs and an umbrella. I realize the chairs have been removed due to covid restrictions, but at this point given it has been confirmed that covid is mostly transmitted thru air, removing the chairs seems like overkill. If need be, perhaps the cleaning staff could wipe down the arms of the chairs when they are cleaning the room when the guests depart? Sitting on a beach without a chair and umbrella is pretty miserable (I grew up in florida) and it is not realistic to purchase chairs when traveling on vacation. Other than the need for a beach chair and umbrella, I had a great stay!

Overall good experience

Listing was as described and very clean when we arrived. Check in/out was very easy. Safe location with restaurants and bars you can walk to. The beach is just 2 streets over. Very convenient location. Only complaint is we were not notified ahead of time that we could not use the laundry facility due to covid, but there is a laundromat within walking distance.

These studio apartments are perfect for a couple! Only had to cross 2 streets to get to the beach. Easy walk from the rental. Everything was communicated clearly and we had a great time!

Property was ok. Good location but manager was not very accommodating for an early arrival.

Property was in good location but property management was not the friendliest. I arrived early and got a lecture about it. I was a single traveler and once I got into my room I was rudely interrupted by management at least three times where they just came into the room with me occupying it. Would not recommend this one folks. I have stayed at others and have been treated a lot better. Keep looking.

Hi Mr. Putz- so sorry about your experience but this is the first time we hear of this. We have an office on site so none of this rings familiar to any of our staff. We certainly value your privacy and if we go into a room once a guest is there it would be because we were asked to look at something or fix something. As far as early arrivals go, we are bound to honor the published checkout and check in times for guests. In your case someone had checked out at 11am so we needed the time to make your room perfect and allowing you to check in at 11 would have created a heap of trouble for you since the room had just been vacated. When possible we always try to work with our guests but this time we couldn't grant you a morning check in- it was just impossible. We did however notify you as soon as the room was done which was still earlier than the published check in time. Have a great rest of the year!
