Large raised ranch with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom with king bed and attached full bathroom with tub and shower. Second bedroom is a queen bed and third bedroom has a triple bunk bed. Second bathroom with shower. A large living family dining area. A copper top table seats 8. The kitchen with island bar has 3 seats. Lower lever has a couch with hide away bed, bunk beds and a half bath. Laundry and bonus room in lower level. Beautiful views of Mother Nature through out this property, has trails to explore, as it’s 50 + acres of woods and wetlands, has over a 1000 feet of lower Black River frontage. Fish, canoe, kayak the river. The Kal Haven trail is just north of the property. Recreational vehicles, campers, mobile home spaces available. House does have a ramp on rear deck for wheelchair entry. Drive way to area to access ramp to home.
This home has a fully functional kitchen and is ready for fun and entertainment.

This property is amazing. Acres and acres of perfectly kept land. Owner is incredibly nice and helpful. House is beautiful with the best views I’ve seen. In the country but close to everything you need. I highly recommend.

Wonderful host

Craig was wonderful! From the sweet gift of home grown fruit, to fresh flowers around the home, this stay was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our wedding weekend! The only “issue” is WiFi with kids lol We will for sure book again!

Family vacation

Location was close enough to town but secluded also. Had family time by the fire and outdoor walks on the property. Craig was nice, accommodating with firewood for the fire pit and gave recommendations for our first time visit. Only recommendation I would suggest would be to fix TV, master bedroom fan, making sure all lights are functioning, and making sure the kerasote in basement gets cleaned up. Overall a great place for family time and would rent again.

We loved staying at this beautiful property.

We so much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The owner is the best. He welcomed us and so kindly helped us feel at home. The deck is so wonderful with plenty of seating available to spread out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The house was very clean and we could find all the amenities we needed. The bedroom were great and we felt very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need and owner was so generous to let us use whatever we needed. The nature around this property is gorgeous. We had nice walks and relaxed on the porch. I highly recommend this house with its kind and wonderful owner.

Home away from Home

First off, the pictures do not do this sanctuary justice. The outdoor space was just divine, spacious and green (July the fourth weekend). Indoor space was ideal for 10 adults and a child and 2 dogs. We took advantage of cooking and grilling and there was no want of anything - Craig has the kitchen well organized and filled of all types of cookware. We all fell in love with the space and cannot wait to do a repeat for many years to come. Craig thank you for being so attentive and hospitable.

Family vacation

Craig is an outstanding host! We arrived at night and the house was easy to find in the dark. He checked in and made sure we found it ok. The option to drive around and drop things off at the back of the house was nice due to those that couldn’t do stairs too well. The house was very clean, comfortable, no weird smells and stocked well with extra pillows and blankets. The live flower bouquet on the table was a gorgeous surprise! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal at home and a very nice new outdoor gas grill. The back patio and yard is perfection. We even saw wild Turkey and deer in the backyard. We were out there most of our time enjoying the beautiful view. Don’t miss the sunrise and sunset in the backyard! We had all meals outside and a outdoor fire every night. We walked some trails on the property. So much to do that we ran out of time. It seems your far out in the country yet, you’re only a short drive to a store, beach or the shops by the beach. We spent time talking to Craig. Wonderful person. We will visit again.

Family Weekend

Our family of 9 spent a long weekend here and had a great time. Easy to get to and just a short drive into town. Plenty of room for everyone with a nice peaceful deck to relax in the evening.

An amazing experience I can't wait to return next year.

Our stay was outstanding the property is just a few minutes out of town which is amazing you can enjoy your evening sitting on the back deck or around the fire or alternatively be down town in about 6 minutes. The owner made the stay that much better we had a slight issue getting the TV set up and the owner came over and handled the issue very quickly and had some great recommendations on places to visit. Our friend group stated making plan to return next year before the trip was even over.

Excellent South Michigan Getaway

Overall the property was perfect for us, we were 3 adults and 5 children ages 1 to 5 and a dog. The house was in excellent condition with excellent sleeping rooms with bunk beds for the kids. The property was excellent for hiking and was very close to get to the beach and town. Craig, the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue we did not realize was there was not cable TV, however, the TV could be hooked up to Netflix or other programs through your own phones/ipads. Definitely plan on returning to this property.

Loved the area! So much fun! The house is in a perfect location! Close to everything but still in a private, quiet area. Craig is very helpful, even brought us fresh fruit from his orchard! My family loved it!

Blue House Stay

Craig was very easy going which makes vacation a little easier. House is very spacious. Property is nice. Almost surrounded by woods. Dogs enjoyed being able to be free of leashes. 5 - 10 min drive away from beaches & downtown. 5 min drive away from expressway.

10-days in South Haven

We stayed here with our family of four and dog for 10 days. The location was very good, relatively secluded but close to town and the lake. We enjoyed the woods and river nearby for hikes and kayaking. The house was 3-bedrooms and 2-bathrooms on one level, which worked well for us. We did not use the bed and bath in the basement and would not have wanted to be relying on that as an extra space since it was not very inviting. Overall, the house was okay; it could use some TLC in terms of window blinds and a refresh on furniture and towels. We were comfortable here for a long stay.
