Separate entry sunny walkout apartment feels like your own cottage overlooking Prevost and Mayne Islands. Completely renovated (spring 2020) and newly furnished with modern farmhouse touches. Our property is a hobby farm and supports an orchard, a perennial flower garden (pick your own bouquet), and nearby trails for you to explore. And of course there are our hens who provide fresh eggs daily. We are centrally located: only 2 km walk to Cusheon Lake swimming; 3.5 km to Beddis Beach; 7 km to Ganges.

Perfect!

We loved our stay on SSI! The suite is amazingly well equipped, comfortable, and in a conveniently central but also quiet location. Comfy beds, great wifi, friendly dogs, and an ocean view. What more could you ask for? 😄

The perfect retreat

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Ted's. Great location close to Ganges and all the other gorgeous beaches and hikes on the island. The apartment is very spacious, with everything one could possibly need. The highlight for us was the chicken coop and Bill and Charlotte, Ted's lovely dogs that came to play every day. Janet was super accommodating when we needed to change our dates and very quick to respond. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

"Food for the Soul"

We had a wonderful time staying in your suite! The views of the ocean from the deck were amazing. The suite was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Ted is a very gracious and personable host. The biggest treat our stay were the family dogs, Bill and Charlotte! They are so sweet and would greet us 1-2x every day. Bill always wants to play fetch while Charlotte would just hang out and chill haha. We don't have dogs so being around them brought us real joy! Staying in your suite, playing with the dogs, and enjoying what Saltspring Island had to offer fed our souls 🥰 We will definitely be back! Winston, Erin, and Danielle Soriano (Richmond, BC)

Little piece of heaven

We very much enjoyed our home in the woods with its peaceful view and calm vibe. The suite is homey and comfortable. The chickens and the dogs add extra fun to the experience! Great central location. The owners have built and maintained a lovely place.

Loved Wintercreek

Coming back to Salt Spring after 3 years of covid, Wintercreek was a beautiful place to stay. Bill and Charlotte greeted us every morning, and Ted was a friendly and wonderful host, and helpful during the windstorm and power outage!! Thanks Ted.

We purchased 13 acres of land in 2003. We instantly fell in love with the property; at the time, there was a tiny cottage, a garden with apple and pear trees, and a small gazebo. We named the property Wintercreek because of the water than only runs in the winter from the pond, past the orchard, into a small secret waterfall at the foot of the property. It is one of the many things that we think makes the property to magical. Three generations of family (and many friends) have worked to create a driveway, install electricity, bring water up 300' from our artesian well, and build, build, build. Nearly all of it was done ourselves. Along the way, we have raised chickens, ducks, and sheep. We're still building, dreaming, and creating on Wintercreek, and we look forward to sharing it with our friends and guests to enjoy as well.
