The Space:
Serenity Abode by Tiny Away sits in the town of Beaconsfield Upper, just 8 minutes from the nearest town of Berwick and only an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Close to the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley, it offers a peaceful nature escape with easy access to stunning scenery, charming villages, and modern comforts.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with a spacious deck that extends the living area and invites the outdoors in. Easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making this tiny home a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday escape.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While we are pet-friendly, please note that the property is not specifically equipped for pets—there are no fenced areas, doggy doors, or pet amenities such as bowls provided.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and the entire 6 acres at their leisure.
The Neighborhood:
Serenity Abode by Tiny Away is located in Beaconsfield Upper, just 8 minutes from the nearest town of Berwick and only an hour’s drive from Melbourne. A short drive further will take you to Emerald, home to an award-winning bakery and a vibrant weekend market. Beyond Emerald, you’ll find yourself in the stunning Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley—regions rich with breathtaking scenery, charming villages, and unforgettable experiences.
Getting Around:
By car from Melbourne : 52 minutes
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Breakfast options available (at extra cost, please pre-order before check-in)
- Please note other wildlife on the property, including kangaroos, wombats, etc.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
- We have a local Labrador called Diesel who often visits the tiny house to greet guests. No worries, he is extremely friendly with people and other animals.
Important note:
- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
In view of the Covid-19 situation, we have stepped up our cleaning of the tiny house and alcohol based sanitiser is provided.
